Odds are, with Shooting Star's multiple attack, destroying enough of Grannel's pieces and/or freeing Scar Red Nova, letting him fight with all 3 of Team 5Ds ace monsters. Then, Jose will use Infinite Prison, set Grand Core, and do something weird to summon Cubic Infinity. There's no way 12,000 LP is getting wiped out easily. This is going to be a long duel.

wait..... grannel also has 12000 ATK, well the the core does, maybe he'll do the same like he done in episode 66 when he destroyed the head, and i thought grand core summons the grannel pieces, actually what i think is, is maybe he'll remove the 3 core pieces from the grave to summon cubic (when grannel goes to the grave), and also the 3 yliaster people will form Aporia too.

It won't be used. Just look at when Yusei summoned it against the Polar Gods, half the summoning animation was cut. Its like the writers dont even care about it anymore

He attacked the head in episode 66 because Wisel Top had 500 ATK, Majestic had 3800, and Ghost had 2400 LP left. Attacking Wisel Infinity (2900) would not win. Destroy Infinity, you destroy the entire Emperor (as shown in episodes 131 and 132 against Skiel and Wisel). This cannot be done against Grannel without reducing Jose's LP immensely. But I dont think Grannel had upgrade pieces like Wisel and Skiel, so destroying the pieces will possibly make Grannel useless. Grannel Top has the power to negate SSD's effect, so kill Grannel Top, you can use the effects again. But I'm 99% certain that Yusei will somehow save Scar-Red Nova and have all 3 monsters out at once to fight Cubic, so...guess we'll see.

The writers probably don't like Majestics because they're too Deus Ex Machina-like. Jack and Yusei only get Majestic Dragon when they're screwed/really determined. It's sort of indicated they don't have the card otherwise, and Yusei even noted after fighting Wisel the first time that he shouldn't depend on the Crimson Dragon giving him Majestic Star Dragon every duel.

And the preview for 134 does show Shooting Star Dragon being combined with Synchro Strike. Majestic Star's not coming. We're lucky we ever saw it again in the first place.

I got the Shooting Star Dragon playmat at the event, so I don't see wynaut to try running SSD as a joke finisher or something. They are more of a gimic than anything, but Formula Synchron is good in some instances, not just for Shooting Star Dragon, but also for regular synchro summons, just because it can during the opponent's turn.
It would be fun if they released more synchro tuners (not just a level 2 but perhaps level 3 and a level 4) that include the opponent's turn part, but then again, that might be bad for the meta.
