Kocrow17
The topic of Discussion:
Select 1 face-up monster on the field. The original ATK of that monster is halved until the end of this turn.
Also, a problem: I run two in my Gradius Gaiden Starship deck (the monsters require me to destroy monsters in order to avtivate their effect). But the more I play my deck, the more I find Shrink letting me down in many situations (When my monsters get blown up on my opponent's turn, when my opponent plays 2 Solidarity at once, etc.). I already run 3 Book of Moon and 2 Honest, and I'm not sure what I could use to replace Shrink. Generic monster removal? Enemy Controllers? Anyone care to advise me on this bit of deck contruction? Anbu-of-Sand
Burden of the Mighty. I find it slightly better then Shrink in most situations, even though Shrink is a Quick-Play and can even make 3000 beaters to a low 1500.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Sadly, there isn't much of a Quick-Play alternative. You either use Burden, Shrink, or Riryoku.
CommanderVolt
Prideful Roar helps if you can handle the LP Cost.

Manjoume Thunder
Doesn't really fit the bills as it's used more to finish games rather than to run over monsters.
Mehmani
Enemy Controller is your best bet - it's a Quick-Play like Shrink and is significantly more versatile. If you want a more defensive approach, then try Fader maybe.

Canadian
Forbidden Chalice could be a decent substitute. Control's their effects and could give a 400 ATK push needed to win in battles.

Sephiroth_The_Legend
Shrink is only good in some situations...... In others, it's highly outclassed. If anything, Book of Moon or even Enemy Controller are much better.
Kocrow17
I'm already running a Limiter Removal. And I'm iffy on Enemy Controller. With an ATK of 1200, my monsters usually can't punch through ANYTHING with even an average ATK/DEF stat. *sigh* I think I'm stuck with Shrink. I'm going to a local tournament tomorrow with this deck. Let's see how it holds up...
Professional Duelist
Best place to discuss card changes is Deck Den. Shrink isn't a good enough card nonetheless.
