I just noticed that I subconsciously put this into almost every deck... really, I have ~20 decks in my notebook, only 3 of them don't play Decree. (Chain Burn, Sphinxes, Gladiator Beasts) So yeah, discuss Royal Decree itself, its place on banlist and how often should it be played this meta?[/center]

It's not good YGO to run 3 Decree in every deck for room :|

I agree and I disagree. Heros take up so much stupid space just to be somewhat playable. but no... only in certain decks will 3 decree work, Perfect Herald comes to mind.

With Heavy gone

That's the most important reason why Decree is so good now, because its so hard to permanently deal the opponents backrow. Cold Wave, Trunade, Trap Stun are all for short periods of time, and have to be used when you can make a big play. Decree is easier to play, and is more effective than all the cards I just mentioned(well, maybe not Cold Wave).

In term of use in the meta, I say use if if you don't think you need commonly played traps. If you need that extra protection with Warning, BTH, D-Prison, etc than don't use it. But if you don't think you need the protection, run it.

I'm not gonna talk about the banlist, because it's completley irrelevant to me. I'll live with this card at 0-3.

Well, if you ask me, this card changes the rules of the game .. The rules say that the game consists of 3 types of cards: Monsters, Spells and Traps .. This card knocks at the door and goes like: "No, I say otherwise.. Traps aren't playable" and this can just about stun 1/3rd of somebody's Deck, by simply playing an instant-playable card with no cost..

Actually, since Heavy is gone and this is at 3, I've seen more people running a Royal Decree Deck than a Trap Deck, which kinda means that Royal Decrees only stun other Royal Decrees right now..

If you ask me, the card is pretty stupid: it's good, usable, not really overpowered, but stupid ..
