Stardust is an insanely good Synchro. This card is to blame for destruction not being good enough for removal, bringing about greater popularity for alternate removal, like RFG, bounce, Spin, etc. Level 8 is the most common level for Synchros, 2500 is acceptable considering its effect, generic is awesome, Dragon Synchros have the most support. One of the few times a Yugioh protagonist's ace card is even more amazing in real life than the show, as opposed to Yugi's Dark Magician and Jaden's E-Hero Neos.

Hey, E-Heros are actually pretty decent.

Also, wasn't "other methods for monster removal" sort of dead before Stardust was printed?
So it gave Konami an excuse to print more cards that remove monsters from the field using those "other methods for monster removal".

Considering Allius(w/e) pretty much does his job, but better.

Heros would have been incredible if Clayman and Sparkman were level 3.

Since Assault Mode only grabs from the deck, its best to run a maximum of 2 copies of Starfag/Buster.
....and then include like 1 copy of Magical Mallet for that 1 in a million chance your opening hand has 2 Assault Modes in it.

Even though its nice if you can get more Slash-Busters out, they are dead cards in your hand, and end up clogging up your draws.
So [i]AT MOST[/i] you only want to run/need 2 copies of the Slash-Buster your using.

And no, it's not invincible. Dimensional Prison, Monarchs, and battle can easily kill it off.

Not to mention Rape Mode is exterminated by everyone's D.D. Crow.
