Prediction [Manga]

I haven't seen the card in the show so iunno how it works there o.o; If it does work the way you guys say, then the wording should be changed to make more sense.

My guess is that the card refers to an action the opponent is performing during their Standby Phase. "Declare 1 'action of your opponent's' during their Standby Phase." Even though the wording is quite off, I would think you chain this Continuous Spell's Optional Trigger Effect to the activation of a card your opponent activates during their Standby Phase.

If your opponent doesn't perform an action, how can you declare it? You can't just call things out randomly. "Action of your Opponent's" would mean an action that they are actually taking. :o

"Battle Phase" isn't an action they take during their Standby Phase, nor is it an effect that can be negated. >_>;

It negates stuff that happens in Standby Phase and you declare at the activation. It's funny as it mentions "action", so you can for example declare "talking" or "moving" :P

Breathing.

And then take twenty minutes to decide whether or not to activate your facedown.

I don't think you would get yelled at for stalling either since the game state of your opponent's oxygen levels (and eventually consciousness) are changing still :o

Challenge a female player.
Play Prediction.
Declare "saving self for someone I like/love."
Female player puts out.
We return to the game.
She's too worn out from the 60 minute session to play a card.
She ends her turn.
I Summon Fortress, Gearframe, and Scrap Archie.
I play Limiter.
I Win.

That's the perfect game.
