Discard 1 card from your hand. Your opponent cannot Normal Summon, Set and/or Special Summon during his/her next turn." Much slower than Heat Wave and has a cost, but it also stops Normal Monsters and Setting. not to mention doesn't restrict your own Summons. I use one in my deck, and it has won me duels 3 times. All you need to do is activate this, discard, then drop Dark Hole, Dark Dust Spirit, Judgement, DAD, Black Rose, Torrential Tribute, Mirror Force the turn before, or anything that will get rid of your opponent's troublesome monsters. After that, you've got two turns of an open field.

Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
""Cold Wave" can only be activated when you start your Main Phase 1. If you activate any other effects or Normal Summon or Set a monster during your Main Phase 1, you cannot activate "Cold Wave".[1]" Doesn't say anything about during your Standby Phase. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Oh hey look. I need 3 Cards to get an OTK that still gets Stopped by Gorz.
First of all, it could be an OTK or 2TK, and secondly, Heat Wave wouldn't even allow you to Summon, you you would already have to be set up to OTK beforehand. Also, you could still OTK or 2TK without having to use a card to destroy the monsters. In that case this would simply stop your opponent from gaining the advantage over you. In terms of the card as a total, it's not bad just because it has some ways to stop it. You should know by now that a specific counter doesn't make a card bad. (inb4,warn,negrep and the like, doesn't matter to me though, gotta show people that they're wrong.) You're suggesting that a card that can stop cards from summoning/activating spell and traps creates an OTK. First Turn Solemn Warning pretty much does the same job, (As you described it.) and with no cost or ridiculous activation timing. Heat Wave is bad too, no where in my previous post was I endorsing using that card instead. (Except in Worms. It's godly in there.) Essentially, if you open like this: 2 Shien's Smoke Signal (Kageki and Kagemusha) 2 Six Samurai United 1 Gateway of the Six 1 Solemn Warning/Magatama of the Six/Trunade It's a fairly plausible FTK/OTK situation. Also, I don't see where you derive advantage from summoning. The number of cards you control doesn't change, unless there is a card effect involved. So essentially, even Divine Wrath would be better than NAA; because you're prevent an effect and destroying, rather than just preventing an effect caused by a summon. In terms of card total, it's bad because other cards outclass it. By at least 10 full. Also, did I mention the ridiculous activation timing makes it quite unplayable. (A Trap you have to wait 2 Turns to play, and 3 Turns for an effect.)

-Berserker-
The pic reminds me of those Hack n' Slash games that stop you in some places and don't let you advance until you defeat all the enemies, like Dante's Inferno or God of War... You're suggesting that a card that can stop cards from summoning/activating spell and traps creates an OTK.
I don't need to read past there on this post, because I am just saying that it makes OTKs possible. You take things much too literally. Obviously there are ways around every card and around every activation. You would have to be stupid not to take that into consideration. Last night I even found myself in the same sort of situation of "Gorz" as you mentioned when I used it. My opponent Summoned Trageodia when I attacked directly, on my turn after they were unable to Summon. Obviously this can happen. But it still stopped my opponent from Setting, and allowed me to Summon my Rat which had attacked directly, which Heat Wave wouldn't have allowed. If you're interested in knowing, I also won this duel.
