claude_c_kenny
I was wondering, with two structure decks that offer things such as DD warrior lady, DD warrior, marauding captain, etc., and one that offers card trooper, cyber dragon, etc., what would be a good, primarily warrior-based deck set-up that won't cost me loads of $ that can utilize cards from the structure decks? I am willing to hunt down certain neccessary cards, especially if they have cheaper, non-rare versions, but i'm not looking to spend more than about $100-150 if I don't have to (I already bought one Warrior strike deck), and i'm willing to try and make things like Gearfried the Swordmaster, Geminis, and Gilford the Legend work. my second question would be if a warrior-based deck would even hold up, even against basic players. i'm not looking to be the next major tournament winner, but i'm not looking to be a loser, either. and, do you think I would be better off just dropping $35 on the newest DS game, instead of hunting down real cards? claude_c_kenny
I have no idea what you guys just said. could you elaborate please?
-Berserker-
Solid decks are the ones that use Solidarity. All your monsters must be of the same type (some use plaguespreader zombie anyways, due to it not interfering due to it's nature). Toolbox decks (the ones with "box") are the ones that allow you to choose from a wide variety of options depending of the situation. Ratbox consists en EARTH monsters with 1500 or less ATK. Bringerofcake
My recommendation would be LIGHT Gemini Beat. As the name suggests, the deck consists of LIGHT and/or Gemini monsters with high ATK that can be easily summoned. Used in tandem with Gemini Spark for good destruction and revival, they have potential to do fairly well. A variant of this deck won a previous Yugioh Championship Series last year, beating out Blackwings and X-Sabers to do it. If you aren't willing to put forth the money, you'll have to pick an alternate card that achieves the same goal.**This card is Limited on the March Forbidden/Limited list.***This card is Semi-Limited on the March F/L list. I hope this was helpful in the determinations for your chosen deck.
