Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
"You can activate this card when you discard from your hand. After that, each time you discard from your hand, your opponent must also discard the same number of cards from his/her hand." Could be a Dark World tech card? Using it with Dealings, Destruction, and Morphing Jar could cause a lot of annoyance. Though it depends on when it makes a player discard... After or before they draw? If before, then it annoys with Destruction. If after, it annoys with Morphing Jar.
Sunshine Jesse
Tried it. It just clogged up the deck.
Anbu-of-Sand
Thought of using this an Appropriate in FabledWorld. Will consider the above's opinion on this card though if / when I do so.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Were you running more than 1 of it in the deck? I think at 1 it wouldn't be too bad.
Shizuku Oikawa
Well according to wiki its after the effect resolves, but they discard right away if it's a cost. So Morphing Jar and Card Destruction abuse! I'm pretty sure this topic was made when I mentioned this card in the Magical Thorns thread.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Yeah, but it was also made because I was thinking of all of the cards that you can use to discard to deal damage with Thorn, and that reminded me of Dark World and tech cards. Went to the Wiki page on it and it mentioned using this too, so the two mentions made me decide to make the thread. But, yes, very abusable. But like I said, used best as tech in DW, not a main strategy.
DARKPLANT RISING
I thought running 1 each of a particular unlimited card in a deck is considered bad, because there are other options. amirit?
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Who said "1 of each"? Also, there are plenty of unlimited cards that decks run in singles.

Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Well, I'm going to try and build a deck using 2, and if I decide to test it out I can say if more than 1 is even reasonable.
darkwolf777
In my Fabled deck, I only put one in. At the right time (for me it was after a Morphing Jar), I was able to empty all 5 cards of my opponent's hand with Fabled discard shenanigans. Definitely not good more than one though as they will simply be dead draws a lot I think.

Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Magical Merchant...? I've not seen many Fabled decks, but I've never seen one using Magical Merchant.
MibeR
Magical Merchant usually used for Lightsworn,or the other Graveyard Bound-oriented
wero-vasto
I swear I run 2 of these in a FabledWorld Deck and it was lulzy :3 but just that, most of the time it was a Death draw, so side 1 maybe?
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Funny that you would say a card is a dead draw in a deck that discards a lot. But yeah, I get the point. I hope I can test my deck out soon to see how it works.
wero-vasto
It was fun, 1 on the field while you keep discarding to continue Synchro and Synchro and make your opponent discard his/her hand... yeah, funny but sometimes I ended with this on the hand and one on the field without nothing else to do.
