RAEGING D0GKING Posted March 8, 2011 Report Share Posted March 8, 2011 Wouldn't Oppression murder Blizzard, Bora, Gale, Gorz, DAD, Trag, and Vayu's effects, as well as his own Synchro Summons? I figured that Cylinder could stay simply based on the fact that so many people run Warning and Judgment that their Life Points go down, and with Sirocco you have a heavy hitter than can turn the remainder into dust. It can be run in any deck (Except Forgnarchs since they wont be able to summon Treeborn and decree decks) So you would rather lose a duel than pay 800 Life Points? Yes, you can stop your opponent's big moves with this card. However, at the same time you could end up committing suicide by closing off your own options in the duel. And since Anger Level said that he doesn't know how to play a card like Judgment at the right time, this card would likely serve as a problem for him as well. I can see the use, but I really don't see the need for it to be in the main deck when it counters so many of your own cards. This is not aimed at you Odin, but I'm done posting in this thread because people just aren't getting what I'm trying to say and I don't want to be held responsible for flaming and be handed a warning in the process of the others. If you don't like what I think about a deck just say you disagree with me, give a reason why, and move on. Or don't even comment about it and actually be productive in making suggestions of your own independently. RAEGING D0GKING Posted March 8, 2011 Report Share Posted March 8, 2011 So what if it stops you, your opponent has to pay 800 Life Points, you can just special summon a lot and they will run out of life points and you can just otk them.Also your running 2 MST, 2 Icarus and 1 Giant Trunade so it wont be a threat to you much. Ok so here are some HELPFUL tips -2 ghibli (its trash)-2 magic cylinder (seems good but there are better things)-3 gold sarc (2 turns is way toolong in this format especially with sams being as nuts as they are)-1 tragodia/gorz +1 Torrential tribute - this is amazing and im surprised you are not playing it. when your opponent goes to make big plays like when they drop their faultrols or when they start to swarm you with their sams you play this and they will have to use something to protect themselves or have a lot of -'s. dont worry too much about loosing your monsters because BW are known for being able to swarm and create big field presence.Yes. +2 Vayu - its amazing because with shura u get mad +'s and if u open with it u will most likely b able to get an iccy so set both end and even if it negates ur synchro monsters effects u can still get a 2300 or 2500 beater which your opponent will fing more difficult to deal with.Maybe one? +1 oppression - Works great with vayu and shura cause they cannot negate shura because his effect happens in the damage step and if they negate vayu then vayu will stay in the grave and u can use the effect again.No oppresions.+1 Delta crow - this card really is amazing because with the loss of heavy storm this is like a personal heavy for BW that destroy face downd only but the stuff u will worry about are the face downs anyway.Yes.+2 solemn warning - i kno u dont like it but its too good not to use because it can even be activated in the damage step to negate things like gorz and u can also negate their synch, for example if they go into stardust u can warning and stardust cant negate because it technically never hit the field and they cannot monster reborn synchros that have been warning-ed because they summoning requirements never properly happened so u can ger mad +'s off this card.Yes.+1 Solemn judgment - you said you played it at the wrong times but all you have to do is play it on the cards that will give your opponent +'s or will leave you with very little to defend yourself. If they play trunade and you solemn they will probably hold back expecting that you have something amazing set so u can build up your big plays and save your other cards for counters on their big plays.I commit suicide playing it.These are all tips and you can do whatever you want but this is what i would do. Obviously u havnt played with or against sams because even with gateway at 1 they can still open the nuts and get mad combos off.Oppression is an amazing card and if u draw it before u do all your specail summoning then u simply wait or activate it if it is necessary.also with the swarm power of BW's your opponent will just be hurting himself by using ur oppression and hurting themselves by not using it so they have to choose the lesser of two evils.Another thing, if u dont have anything constructive to say to help this person then can you stop posting and causing arguments because ATM u are the instigator here...
