Only way it can be used effectively is if a card says something like "If this card is destroyed or its effect is negated, <insert bad effect here>". Otherwise all cards are the same. It should have been a Reptile, because it doesn't make sense as a Beast. Sea Serpents are pretty much the same thing as Dragons in form and mythology. And if this were a Dragon, it could be abused by a lot more cards. As-is, it's just an amazing addition to the Sea Serpent family which can be used in almost any deck.
