Darj
-1 Eltanin -1 Swift Scarecrow +2 Gearframe With 2 Overload Fusions in your Deck, it's more feasible to Summon Chimeratech than Eltanin. As mentioned above, most of the Time you will have a monster on the field so Scarecrow is not that needed. More Gearframes will help you to speed up your Deck by searching Fortresses. burnpsy
Testing shows that the Karakuri Synchros are way too [s]expensive[/s] complicated for my brother to use effectively. What should I swap them out for?
-1 Eltanin -1 Swift Scarecrow +2 Gearframe With 2 Overload Fusions in your Deck, it's more feasible to Summon Chimeratech than Eltanin. Darj
Oh, you are right, you are only running 2 Fortresses. I don't know if 3 would still work fine, because using 3 Gearframes will still increase your chances of obtaining Fortress faster, and you can always discard the 3rd one for Summoning a Fortress from the Grave. I suggest to keep the 3, but if tests show that 3 become a burden, then just run 2 and keep the Eltanin, which has the potential of saving you if you are in a dangerous situation. Now, if you are planning to remove the Karakuri Synchros, then there is little point in using Haipas or even Nishipachis because their main reason of being in the Deck it's that they can be Summoned by the Synchros. So, you could substitute the Karakuri Effect monsters with Proto-Cyber Dragons and Shining Angels in order to get Fusion Materials quicker.
Neutron and Dupe become worthless without Nishipachis, so I'll toss those before the Haipas. That leaves all 3 Haipas. I'll toss one for Sangan.
