Yugioh GX stuff:

When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can discard 1 card to Special Summon this card in face-up Defense Position. Up to 3 times per turn, you can discard 1 card to inflict 600 damage to your opponent.

Activate only when you control a face-up "Anchor Knight". Return the top 3 cards from your Graveyard to your hand. Those cards cannot be used.

And its a Warrior-Type. Anyways, discuss.

The Trap is worded wrong. "Used" includes discarding, so it serves no purpose whatsoever. Vicious Claw is another such card, so I at least have some evidence.

OT: Could seem fairly fun if released IRL, but nothing like competitive. The monster should definitely have 200 DEF.

Not entirely true. Cards called via Prohibition can be discarded for costs, yet are forbidden from use. Vicious Claw works differently, and it itself cannot be "used" but it cannot be discarded for costs, though I cannot at this time figure out a reason why. I don't know if the Japanese text is any different either considering I don't speak it o.x

There are still no rulings for Psi-Blocker, nor a game with it being TCG-exclusive, but I believe Psi-Blocker, but I believe it would work the same way as Prohibition does (outside of the 'cards already on the field are not affected').

I think for Vicious Claw, you cannot do anything to willingly remove it from your hand, which is slightly different from "cannot be used" that Prohibition uses. Like a cursed armament, it latches onto your own hand and you cannot get it off until the next turn while the shadows of the underworld feed at your soul.

Gotta say, this thing is pretty epic. I don't much like the trap card, but the monster is pretty great card, particularly it's resummoning effect, I mean ditching things like Plague and Glow Up for it is pretty awesome, I dunno where I'd run it, but still
