Honestly, I suck at Yugioh. Bad. But looking at a sportsman-attempt saying he knows more about a game than the good players around, and lost to CLOUDIANS, makes me laugh. +Rep.

????

I'm sorry, I've been kinda skimming, but did Tempest call Worms meta?

No I didn't. I simply said that I know what worms do as I play a worms deck

Look, you can't even make sentences properly. When you say something like that, you're supposed to say "What do you mean, retard?". Sheesh, it's basic English.

Look, the game is meant to be competetive, not "fun". If it wasn't meant to be competetive, no tournaments, regionals etc. would exist; have fun on your own time, but when you lose to a good deck whilst using a bad deck, you're not being a good player.

BAD PLAYERS USE BAD DECKS, GOOD PLAYERS USE GOOD DECKS. When you act all nice when you lose, well, good for you I guess. That doesn't change the fact that you lost whilst using a bad deck.

Lets make this clear right here right now. I am an author, a story writer and a good one as well. Just because I'm not exactly in the moods to makes sure all my posts are completely scot free off any mistakes does not mean I can't write. As I can, and I can do well.

A game is meant to be competetive but there is something else that it is meant to be... FUN. It is a GAME. So its meant to be fun! In fact most games are meant to fun and competetive.

Like I said, a duelist is not defined by their ability to win, but their attitude in the duel. A bad player is someone who is an a******, a good player is someone that is not and trust me on this on, I know about this as I've been talking to my friend about this... who is a pyshologist, so he would know about these things.

I AM WRONG.

A sports player's ability is judged on how fast he can run, how long his throw is or how strong he is, etc.

Which makes him a better sports player.

Sport is a game (and a competitive game, at that), however, and it is fun and is meant to be fun, but the better player is the one who can play the sport better, not the nicest guy on the team.

I don't know if there are any other Europeans on this forum, but I'll use this as an example anyway.

If Liverpool were to sign a contract with Cristiano Ronaldo (something that will never happen, but anyway...) they'll do it because he is a better player. And that doesn't mean he won't headbutt the ref, or he won't insult the opposition, it means that he can do something relative to the game better than someone else can.

I don't see how it's different from dueling. There are prizes and money involved in dueling, as is in football/soccer/whatever sport you like. They are both games, both have competitive play, and both are fun.

But a better player, is the one who can do something that is relevant to the game he is playing better than someone else.

ok so uh Tempest just a question but if u didn't want any criticism why would you post ur deck here?

Funny, I did want that which is why I posted it up.

But guess what? 99% of the posts here have been people simply trolling, flaming, insulting and simply being an a****** to me.

Why?

Because I have a different view on things.

Hey, it's his "opinion". Didn't you say that opinions cannot be wrong? Oh what a hypocrite you are, Tempest.

It wasn't an opinion. He was saying flat out that I was wrong, as if it was a fact. That fact is wrong.

Sport is Sport.

Yugioh is a Childrens Card Game.

Two very different things.

Stop ignoring my point.

They are both games.

They are both meant for competitive play, BUT ALSO FUN.

A better player is the ONE THAT DOES IT BETTER.

Q: Where did you get your definition of a better player? Or is it......

YOUR OPINION??

The game may be for fun, but you have to remember that the competitive side is the side that truly matters when a duelist is examined. No one cares how polite you are, if you lose a duel you lose.

You can't say that the competitive side doesn't matter because it's your opinion, because it's wrong.

Opinions are wrong a lot of times. I've met someone who's opinion was that Powertool Highlander was good because he could summon Powertool Dragon at least once per duel. He lost almost every duel he's been in. Does that sound good? No, it doesn't. His opinion was wrong.

Like I said, a duelist is not defined by their ability to win, but their attitude in the duel. No. A good duelist is someone who tops tournaments or has the potential to. A bad duelist is someone who never accepts that they are bad and continues to use bad decks.

What you defined as a bad player was an a******. I've seen plenty of rude people on this site who are good at the game. I've met plenty of nice people who can't play the game to save their life.

You, good sir, are wrong.

LOGIC.

Sport is Sport.

Yugioh is a Childrens Card Game.

Two very different things.

A sport is played to win.

This card game is played to win.

Two very different things that have the same goal. You, once again, are wrong.

So much win in above post

Ponies, Miles Edgeworth, and f***ing logic.

The only thing it was missing was this.

"You don't have any other friends because of how unlikable you are. It says so right here in your personnel file: "Unlikable. Liked by no one. A bitter, unlikable loner, whose passing shall not be mourned. Shall NOT be mourned." That's exactly what it says. Very formal. Very official. It also says you were adopted, so that's funny, too."
