You used a Meta deck. I used a non-Meta deck. You won and was very arrogant and coky about it. I was friendly throughout. Where you? No. So, that proves that you are the better winner, while I am the better player.

I know that. I have my own Worms deck.

He used Junk Doppel and SQD Turbo.

None of those are popular, let alone meta.

Just an FYI.

Also, Tempest, you are full of yourself. I'm not saying this in order to flame you or anything, but you come off as a very arrogant and stubborn person who doesn't listen to anyone. And yes, I read everything.

I'm sure you'd immediately post after this and tell me that my opinion of how you've presented yourself is wrong, based on your own opinion. Opinions can be opposite from each other, and in that case, both cannot be right. Though you can't respond to this, since you've been banned for 3 days.

If it is my opinion that Elvis and Micheal Jackson aren't dead, just hiding, then I would be disproven by a more rational argument.

I don't use any meta decks myself, and I'm much more respected around here than you are. You know why? Because I actually know what I'm talking about.

Just had to get that off my chest.

Good day.

By definition, there cannot be a right or wrong opinion. FACT

Since there is A LOT wrong with this kid, I'll just point this out.

Opinions can be, and are, considered right and wrong on a regular basis. They are determined as such by popular opinion. If your way of thinking is different than most people in the community you are with, then you're wrong. With the Yu-Gi-Oh community you are wrong....REALLY REALLY WRONG. There is no other way to put it, you are bad. Most of us used to be bad, but we realized how to improve and keep our originality. Cards are called 'staples' and 'meta' because of their consistency in winning. Saying that, "everyone is using them, so they're bad and unoriginal", is like saying everyone uses cell phones so landlines are better. Our proof is that every major tournament winning decks use the same; 40 cards, 15 Extra, Theme, Staples...you, on the other hand, have no proof. Stop being a stubborn child.

OT: +1 *trollface*

I assume people still post here for the same reason I came here: It's like watching a trainwreck over and over and over again.

And it gives people an excuse to explain their views on "good players" and the obvious morality factor that ties into a person'a skill level, something the world has overlooked for ages.

Ever notice that the rivals in the anime tend to be extremely skilled players, but incredible a**holes? And that the protagonist, with their decks of randomness, general noobishness/obscurity, and awesome attitudes win in the end and become known as the best duelists in the show/world?

That's not how real life works.

A player's attitude does not determine their skill level and whether they're a good player. A player's attitude determines whether they're a good sport. How someone plays the game is the proof of their ability. Having fun is good, but it's not a moral victory to have fun while getting slaughtered by players who are simply better, have better cards, and didn't enjoy the duel because their opponent was honestly not worth the boredom of not serving as any sort of challenge. The moral victory does not make you a better player.

It can be argued that Synchros are OPed. Fact is, some of them are. Moral victories count for nothing. A refusal to embrace an entire game mechanic because they're GOOD is an double-edged moral victory. You look like an idiot for openly rejecting them, and you lose your duels. In exchange, you claim the superior moral ground.

Good players can build their own decks, and build unique decks. Good players can lose duels a lot. But good players LEARN from this and strive to be better by taking advice, making changes, and understanding the game more and more.

I could go on, but I won't.

Decks reflect the meta surrounding you, so obviously, ToR's meta must really, really suck.

Of course it does. Just read the subtitle.

On a completely unrelated note....

9. The Jack Witt Clause

All deck topics are treated as rate and fix topics. This means that, when you post your deck, you will receive comments and evaluations of the deck's quality from other members and suggestions as to how to improve it. If you cannot deal with this, then do not post your deck. If you post your deck and then show that you cannot or will not accept constructive criticism, you will not only appear childish but also run the risk of having your topics closed.

So Mr or Mrs TC person guy lady. Stop it plz.

But yeah, I can say with confidence I'm the second worst player in this thread (haven't played since around '08 or '09) and even I can tell the decks in the opening post are horrible. If you're not a fan of getting your stuff rate/fix'd, don't bother posting it.

I can almost guarantee that you aren't the second worst.
