Morphtronics

Recommended Posts

Morphs are a cool archetype that is both decently strong and easy to build with most of the pieces not being that rare/expensive. Then after a few sets their support more or less stops forcing them to mostly rely on machine support and more less keeping them from getting any better. I really hoped they would get more support with 5Ds now over this is highly unlikely. sigh

7-8 years from now? Really?

I doubt the series will live that long. Takahashi wanted to stop after GX...

that being said, I'm sure Takahashi doesn't really have that much control over the series anymore.

He's the series creator. He has the rights to it.

If he walks, the series ends.

That doesn't apply to everything of, course, but I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that he still has the rights to the series.

Akira Toriyama wanted to end Dragon Ball a few times too but he was rather easily talked out of it.[sup] [citation needed][/sup]

That being said, I honestly don't think he cares much.

Synch Lighton and Celfon for another Librarian!!!

Morphs are ok, but they need some good support to be really competitive
They already have good support, the problem is that most decks rely on Celfon to get stuff out, and that pretty much relies on chance.

Die rolls with a fair die average on 3.5. As such, 1 in every 3.5 cards must be a Morphtronic at the absolute minimum. That translates into 11.4 cards in a 40-card deck. The deck runs 17 Morphtronics. That’s 14 without counting Celfon. That means that, counting Celfon, 1 in every 2.35 cards are Morphtronics. Not counting Celfon, 1 in every 2.86 cards are Morphtronics. This is sufficiently over the quota without flooding the Deck.

Now, back to the Duplication + Celfon combo. I have calculated an 11.6% chance of opening with it with a One for One, 3 Celfon and 3 Dupe.

Yes, I have seen the calculations. But there have been times where I'm running a Morph deck and get stopped cold because I roll a 1 and get nothing.

If you have 3 Celfon out that is when u could Benefit from Baby Tragon... -_-... -_-... XD
But Morphs are good... they have their ways of being played and require a certain bit of "luck" which I find very cool...

That's why you use rigged dice :P

That is F'n SICK!!
Do it for less time the odds that u r going to role the a given number improves but doesn't make it got awfully obvious that the dice are rigged

Omg awesome, I didn't thunk of that.

Isn't there a flip effect monster that causes 6000 damage if you get a 6? There was a thread on that..(which I got the dice hack from)

OT: No hand feels better than Celfon and Machine dupe.

The Archtype can actually be competitive if you try. We had a guy running a Magnet-Lockdown deck at locals and surprisingly he actually managed to win a locals. Morphtronic Accelerator also really gives the deck the extra push it need. When I get WC11 im tempted to make a speed Morphtronic Deck running Dualities.

[s]They need to make some DARK Morphtronics that can work with the LIGHT ones well so I can run Chaos Morphtronics.[/s]

[s]Everything should be Light or Dark... why bother with other Attributes?[/s]

Lolno. That doesn't make the game fun anymore.
Then stop suggesting that everything should become compatible with Chaos.

Nevermind the fact that the good Morphs seem to be evenly split between EARTH and LIGHT.
