Agree with above, but I've found it useful a couple of times, but only in my Cyber deck. It's too specific.

How is it specific ? All you need to do is discard it and another Machine and you have a self-reviving, card-destroying, hand-searching, 2500 ATK beatstick which you can use with Limiter Removal for 5000 ATK. As you've said you can use it with Cyber Dragon but you can use it in ANY machine deck. Preferably Gadgets. Is it specific now ?

it only became good When... Geartown came out, your argument is invalid

Gadjiltron was still a good monster, it became awesome and heavily spammable when Geartown came out.

Fortress is only truly good because of Gearframe. Without Gearframe searching Fortress out and then equipping to it, it would have a dramatically decreased impact on Machina playing styles.

so your logic is: no point making a SD Boss monster without making support which makes it [s]ab[/s]Usable in the [s]fut...[/s]SD

A SD Boss monster is going to have support no matter what you do. Now that everything is pretty much Archetype or bust. Can't argue about a fact. That being said, a SD that had monsters that did not support eachother wouldnt really be a structure deck would it?

not really, but logic dictates that the earlier SD boss monsters weren't that good

that being said, recently with SD, they must've done their homework with the Achetype they want the boss monster to support and make it good and successful ,please don't quote me, even if my sig says so

That is about right. The older SD boss monsters were not that great and i do admit that Fortress is a good boss monster, but the thing that upests me the most is that Fortress has geared the Archetype into doing one thing. "GET ME ON THE FIELD" If a deck can be stopped cold in its tracks by a single "Prohibition" then thats pretty bad. I think Empty Jar suffered when hit with a single Prohibition if they couldnt get any s/t removal.

I agree that Boss monsters should exist but i think its fruitless when it turns the deck archetype into doing one thing and one thing only. Getting the boss monster out by what ever means nessacary and use it to force the win. (Kind of like how LSS pour their heart in soul into getting Shi En on the field ASAP)

Archetypes are supposed to be families.

I beleive blackwings didnt rely on any one card (Black Whirlwind provided alot of much needed speed) but a good jist of their monsters all help the deck as a whole, where as Machina's are hellbent on getting Fortress on the field and then protecting it and boosting it and getting multiples on the field.

Amazing card.

Made my Morphs A LOT less vulnerable to large beatstick X.

lol I thought its discard effect would never activate... but then Morphtronics used this to attack my face down Nightmare Penguin, and it was the only decent target. :(

Brionac shoots this thing a death glare before activating its effect. Either empty your hand to bounce everything, or lose the best card in your hand due to this. And of course, being 7 stars worth of Machine discard fodder means bouncing it is not the right choice.

This thing is evil in Machine decks, and my Sin deck (which runs Geartowns) loves discarding an excess Sin Cyber or Gadjiltron to bring this out in a flash and cause even more destructive havoc. Equipped with Gearframe, this thing rapidly becomes a nuisance.
