CDDRodrigo
I don't care about appearance (to an extent). What matters is if the person is smart enough to not be dumb. inb4thequote

DARKPLANT RISING
I prefer being skinny, but it doesn't really matter for me. The smelly is most likely because they sweat more.

CinnamonStar
Well if you're talking about FAT people, as in, really fat...then yes, they usually smell and are rarely attractive. But unfortunately when some people talk about "fat", they mean (slightly) overweight or plus-sized. And that's usually fine.>_> But when a person is seriously "fat", a bunch of health problems come with it so that's the worst thing for me. Not so much the appearance. MarbleZone
Frankly obese people just aren't attractive by today's standards. It's not exactly a stereotype. It's the definition of "fat" that can be up for debate, and even then only up to a certain point. Of course, the detail of being "smelly" is only true if they don't shower, which I see no reason for them not to.
Madsen
Is it just me or are pretty much all fat people kinda sympathetic?
.Starrk
I honestly don't care if someone is obese. If they are obese, they are obese. That doesn't make them less of a human because of the shape of their body. That's f***ing ridiculous.
Saturn of Elemia
I'm a little on the large side myself (and have a bit of a beer gut, but I'm working to get rid of it. I'm not like a one-ton blob). It's a shame that so much emphasis is put on looks instead of what makes the person who they are. Looks fade over time, but personality sticks around. You can still be 'large and in charge' as long as you make sure it doesn't get out of control and you take care of yourself. Besides, fat people will survive when nuclear winter arrives due to our fat reserves. All the skinny people will die off and the fat people will wind up surviving off their remains (with lots of sweet and sour sauce).

Fusion X. Denver
I hate to say it, but it's hard-pressed to find an attractive and overweight person. However, looks shouldn't matter. There are a lot of fat people at my school that are really popular, have lots of friends, etc. And that was the case at my old school too. As for stench, my old friend kinda stank...but other fat friends of mine smelt fine. Depends on the person really.
Marisa Kirisame-ze
I know how it feels to be overweight. After I lost it all, being skinny is extremely easier. Strangers actually look at you and smile. I will always have a heart for overweight people, or just chubby people in general. It IS harder for them, and sometimes there's nothing they can do about it. Sometimes eating is a disease. People are also sensitive about it; at least, I know I was and still am. So all of you, never make fun of someone's weight. That's shooting too low.
Î’yakuya
I don't care about fat people. It's how they are that counts, as in personality and such. All the fat people I know can be sometimes friendly and jolly too. Rather than that, fat people can find being attractive to other fat people and so. ~ P O L A R I S ~
The general cause of contempt towards them is the self-indulgent temperaments which tend to lead to their predicament. The flip side of pity towards starving African children with transparent skin.
Just Crouton
In my time working in a movie theater, 2 fat people have complained about our reasonable sized seats. The first one was a woman who whined about our seats being too small and demanded a refund. The second went on a tirade that the theater's seats weren't large enough for him and demanded a larger seat. We gave him a folding chair and he sat in the aisle, blocking the emergency exit with his fatness. I heard a week later that the folding chair broke. EDIT: Some are smelly. CinnamonStar
It also depends on why the person is fat. I know, "I can't do anything about it, it's not my fault" is often used as an excuse, but sometimes it is the case. There are other reasons for gaining weight besides being stupid and lazy: depression, alcoholism, slow metabolism, sometimes partially genetics. And don't come to me and say that your whole family is big/thin but I'm thin/big, you're drinking alcohol but never take any weight, everyone is different and I'm just stating other reasons than laziness and stupidity. The rare, rare illness that makes you gain weight and that you can't do anything about is really rare though. At least I could name a bunch of people I know, from my old class for example, who ranged from plus-sized to obese, but worked out and ate healthy food all the time. ~/Coolio Prime\~
What's attractive is subjective, and relatively few people happen to find fat attractive. Also, since they're likely to be out of shape, they are likely to sweat easier and as a result smell worse.
Mehmani
Christopher Hitchens pickled his liver and rotted his organs through an entire life of alcohol and tobacco abuse. I don't see him as any less of a person because of that. I see his point about living a happy, enjoyable life but I have always believed that courage is a euphemism for idiocy. The courage to destroy your body for the sake of something as subjective as a mere emotion is idiotic, but I forgive him that because his philosophy and soliloquies are so brilliant. Bahamut - Envoy of the End
I'm probably going to get shouted at for this. But I find obese people... (and I don't mean a little larger, I mean properly medically really obese)... repulsive. I can appreciate it is hard if you have a genuine medical/inheirted condition and that it is hard to lose so much weight, but people who know they are endangering their health and still stuff their face regardless, its just disgusting. If I ran the country I'd make lipo free. There's no benefit to being in that kind of condition. Wouldn't say all fat people are automatically smelly though.
