Toffee. Posted May 1, 2011 Report Share Posted May 1, 2011 Nobody at the event had an Orthros :/ 1 guy had a Tour Guide, and another dude had an Ultimate Rare Halberd. But seeing as Tengu was on everyone's mind, things were a little hectic. Oh, and everyone did a massive "BOO!" for this 1 guy who won a mat. It was hilarious. Anyway, my pulls were random, and I wasn't really looking for anything specific(aside from Orthros), so I felt like getting some of the cooler junk there that just-so-happen to be common-like. Specifically, the Meklord Army cards(I only really wanted to get 1 of each just to say I had the "set"). To be honest, these seem like fun to build a deck around, mostly because they make for a nice set of beatsticks, as well as being able to troll with Machina Fortress. Airride Posted May 1, 2011 Report Share Posted May 1, 2011 I did some test hands with a Machinalord deck, and It's really consistent, especially with a draw card. Also, wisel make 1 meklord pierce per turn. 3 words to that: Meklord Emperor Granel. I really like the meklords as a whole, they're an interesting idea. I looked it up earlier. Now what we really need for Meklords is a way to Special Summon multiple monsters without draining your card advantage through something like Fortissimo.
