darkwolf777
It isn't Quick-Play/Spell Speed 2 and therefore loses to all other cards that modify ATK and is Quick-Play/Spell Speed 2.

evilfusion
I prefer Shrink, but this card is pretty good and can make some incredible attacking combos. Sort of like Ehero Gaia.
Included as a game promo in "The Sacred Cards". This was one of the first cards I ever got, alongside Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth and Negate Attack.
No, they're not, but while there are a ton that are completely useless now, there sure are a lot that are banned. Last Will, Dark Hole (on and off), Monster Reborn (on and off), Raigeki, Cyber Jar, Witch of the Black Forest, Change of Heart, Delinquent Duo, Confiscation, Graceful Charity, Harpie's Feather Duster, Painful Choice, Premature Burial, Snatch Steal, The Forceful Sentry, Imperial Order, Crush Card Virus, Time Seal, etc, etc. Many of these were from the first two sets in Yugioh: Legend of the Blue Eyes White Dragon and Magic Ruler

The rules + cardpools were different back then and matured over time. As did the ban list. It was only until more and more cards were released that some of the cards needed to get hit. Albeit stand alone cards such as Pot of Greed were absurdly overpowered, that is not the case for all of them.
Catterjune
Where is the sexy alternate art? On-topic: If it were a quickplay, it would be better. If it were permanent, it would be better. As it stands, it's outclassed by Shrink and Mirror Wall in my opinion. What they lack in attack increase they make up for in surprise!

A lot of old cards are either so patheticaly worthless as to be laughable, or so incredibly powerful as to be bannable. They weren't as powerful when swarming and instant major beaters were nearly impossible, but they're too good now. Riryoku came out before Shrink. Before Shrink, Riryoku was decent, even good. Now it's outclassed.
