I resent this thread. Suggestions of racism on the part of the YCM staff are unfounded. YCMaker has always supported the black community by employing them to regularly shine his shoes.

So, that's were they've been. I've been having to hire illegals (with even less pay, of course) to pick up the slack on the plantation. Jose's been whining for a raise, like a nickel per 2 hours isn't enough. He want a DIME every 2 hours. Greedy people.

I'm not blaming current white people for slavery, I'm just pointing out that it's wrong for them to consider themselves superior to black people just because they've inherited better educational opportunities and standards of living than blacks which makes it easier for them to succeed, as this general edge is as a result of slavery. Your analogy's f***ing retarded and leads me to believe that you haven't read anything I've what I'd actually posted.

All children born into England (my country), regardless of colour or creed, are educated. Only Private Education picks and chooses, our State Schools don't. Every child born from the 80s onwards, no matter what nationality or ethnicity has a right to an education and they receive that right. To claim that whites have better education than blacks in this day and age is wrong and ignorant, but to suggest that whites consider themselves superior on those (actually non-existent) grounds is delusional and shows paranoia. The vast, vast majority of white people are no racist at all, and to make the sweeping generalization that whites have a superiority complex when it comes to discussing blacks is self-righteous.

"There is no difference between an offensive thread and one that offends people."

I feel I should point out that an "offensive thread" generally offends the majority while "one that offends people" only offends a certain group or minority of people.

I didn't suggest anything of the sort. My point was that its wrong for whites who do consider themselves superior (Dark) to do so because of x, y, z, etc.

Again, I made no such generalization.

I think my post clarified quite clearly that we were talking about the West, England in particular.

I know I have yet to respond in full, but let me be clear.

whites who do consider themselves superior

I have made it perfectly clear that anything involving white superiority and the KKK was blatant sarcasm. You constantly cite that I am a white-supremacist racist moron, but I don't think you've gotten yet that none of those comments were serious. Yes, it is statistically true that African-Americans as a whole are one of the least-educated races in America, but how does that cause me to be a racist in any way?

Opal, that made no sense. I think it was pretty clear that the title of the thread and the name of the song were the same. The name of the song was "NIGGA NIGGA NIGGA NIGGA NIGGA NIGGA NIGGA", but in order to condense that, I just posted the title as "Nigga". I added the /n/ tags to model the thread after my "Always" thread, since they were both extremely lulzy yet legitimate songs. I find it wholly unfair that my thread was locked (even if it wasn't by you), because it was a legitimate topic, and it is stupid to lock a thread based on the fact that other people may be offended. Okay, well, I'm offended by every single pop music thread in Music. But nobody is going to lock those.
[PG-12/14/whatever] name of the artist - Nigga[/PG]
possibly some note in the first post about the satirical nature of the song rather than trolling attemts

That hard?

I don't really care about what the video is supposed to be about, tbh I didn't get the chance to watch it since random videos are "not available in your country", at least Youtube. That sucks because the whole 2NE1 channel is locked for no reason at all, but on the other side, every song from Germany I've come across with was available and loading with no problems. Oh what a coincidence... :P

Anyway if the song itself was so inappropriate for the Music forum on YCM, I don't know, since I have yet to disallow a topic unless it wasn't probably tagged, product advertisment or full of "OMG BEST SONG OVER HERE". But obviously in this and other conservative and totalitarian sections on YCM which are filled with shitty Metal videos and Rap songs with 50% swearing, people have absolutely no chance to post at all and there's a huge queue with boosting activity waiting in the reports...

When I think about lack of democracy on the Internet, Facebook and the localization features on Apple products come to mind. Many people don't notice it and there's a whole process to disable them, if they can be disabled at all. Censorship in China or lack of Internet access in countries in general also.

But really? In what forum with the size and activity of YCM do members have a far greater say about staff decisions?
I'm not saying everything is good and fine around here, there's a lot that needs to be fixed. But if you think there's more "democracy" (I guess you mean freedom to say whatever the hell you want? something like that?) that can be squeezed out, I suggest you join into one of the countless threads that have been made to complain about the mods. Last time I checked, almost all of them, besides YCMaker and Falling Pizza becoming more active, ended with the mod in question agreeing to improve or him getting kicked out/demoted (Bloodrun, Icy's demotion, etc.). So in favour of the members and it's not like all those threads got deleted on the spot and never read. There was a time in 2009 (I think) where "unban mah bud" threads were told to be deleted but that policy got removed in the meantime. In fact we've bended the rules far further than we should, at the point that sometimes it seems like an injustice towards the members who follow them but that's just my view.=/

Again, I'd love to see another family-friendly forum directed mainly towards a younger public with a similar activity that exceeds all the others in terms of democracy. I'd probably move there, the only one I can think of right now is Doujinstyle, with an equal amount of pretty good mods and less good ones, all chosen by the site admin, and more or less equal wank and drama. The official Emilie Autumn forum on the other side has a bit stricter rules (aka rules that'd probably make many of you go "OMG dictatorship!!!") and definitely follows an "either you follow them or you're out" mentality.

I'd hate to seem pompous, but I agree more with this person than the moderators who have a compulsion to group up with eachother because of a messed up group of God complexes mixed with fascism and hierarchies and the sort. Which is paradoxical unless you're into Norse mythology or something.

Anyways, the music and Q and such is an adequate example. If he hasn't a right to "offend" them with the title of his topic (Which is a complete excuse to report in the first place, assuming it was), then other people shall not have the right to, as stated, have a topic title with the letter q inside it.

Or other things. I have no sympathy nor effort or whatever.
lol? What group are you refering to? Because last time I looked into the mods forum, it didn't look like people were ganging up with each other and putting their fascist god complexes together to make up ideas on how to suppress the poor members.

Personally I'd love to start seeing mods of YCM 2011 working together or even knowing who they're working with but that's just me. Perhaps it'd make a bigger impact to have kings in the dministration rather than slowpokes in a coma who have seemed dead for almost a year now too.=/

What statistics?
And now no "ur stupid, I'm smart and u should know that", I don't trust statistics in general and just take smaller, precise statistics as a starting point, if anything.=/

In England, yes, but in America it's slightly more difficult.

You see, if a child goes to a school in the ghetto, they're not going to be immersed in an environment that strongly promotes education, leading to the common stereotype. It all leads back to the civil war, even though that took place at least 5 generations ago.

If all schools are effective in England, I envy your country's school system. It kind of sucks here in the USA.

Well, I've been given examples in more private conversations. I was wrong to designate all moderators, though. I will admit that. Just a fraction of them, however. Or maybe a few. Why are you telling me what you saw in the moderator forum? How am I supposed to give a reply if I can't even see what goes on in there?

And...
2011 moderators?
Are there new ones every year or something?

It isn't like that.

Blacks are jailed much more frequently in Britain, suggesting that there is either racial discrimination by the law or that blacks are in generally poorer conditions.

A more defining path in life is how well off you are financially, and this fact is covered up and attributed to racism so that the root issue is never truly addressed.

You're right. Violence solves everything. The next time someone gives me a weird look, I'm going to kick their skull in! I can't stand by and get looked at in a weird way! I have to do something! Plus, no one else does anything about someone giving me a weird look, so YEAH.

I'm also going to start knifing people who complain about me eating pizza rolls.
