Bringerofcake
YESSSSSS http://teammentalwarfare.blogspot.com/2011/06/about-those-new-card-wordings.html Also, the new Nomi text feels a bit cold, but otherwise well explained.
CDDRodrigo
Awesome text. I don't see why people think it's bad. And the card is good.
evilfusion
Maybe I'm just weird, but I don't get what anyone's saying about the text looking awful. I THOUGHT the changes of the complicated cards would look weird or awkward and be a little confusing to get, but I found it really clear. It's worded differently, but I can see all the points and effects of the card and figure it out with no problem. I don't read card text the way people read books. I read to know what the effect does and I expect a coherent "summary", which is what the new text delivers. Also, I tend to memorize effects, and don't actually need to look at the card text aside from quick clarification that my idea will work the way I think it does. Phantom Roxas
I honestly don't get why everyone thinks the new text seems less confusing. I'm not saying it's not, but it definitely just seems awkwardly written. Maybe I just need to get used to the new text. I guess I just find the addition of colons and parentheses to be unnecessary. I honestly don't get why removing "This card" from the summoning conditions was deemed necessary, and I can't help but read the first sentence like a caveman. Anyway, I don't subscribe to Jump, but it's good. Not fond of the fact that it prevents your other monsters from attacking, but otherwise I like it. [/quote] Honestly, I hate the removal of "this card" from Summoning Conditions. That's the most awkward thing about it. The colons and semi-colons distinguish between a Condition/Trigger and activation costs/targeting. I like the concept, but I need more examples to really decide if it's awkward or great. I think it'll take some getting used to, but once used to it, you'll wonder how it was done any other way. And really, it doesn't change the way the card works, so it doesn't make old cards obsolete.
