I'm cool with limiting factors to add some challenge. Forcing certain things to make us think outside the box is fine.

Yet this just seems different. The challenge to not recolor feels more like a challenge against our basic instincts. I don't know, I just personally don't like it. Maybe it's because not recoloring a splice is typically an amateur mistake.

I mean it's like if the challenge was to mix Snorlax with a certain set of Pokemon that normally would be difficult to splice, that would instead push us to be better splicers cause we would have to start using more advance techniques to make it work. This though is telling us to leave out a step sort of.

Maybe I'm thinking of this as the wrong way. To not recolor is unknown territory to me, maybe there is some merit or fun to be have with such a limiting factor.

I'm game for this. An excuse to make a splice after a while rusting..... Sha-weet.

I'm guessing by "No recoloring" means we recolor the finished sprite in Snorlax colors. Maybe we aren't allowed to recoor Snorlax base any other color. My 20 cents.
I'll send the points when I actually complete the sprite. So yeah.

I need practice anyway. In.
Just one question. Can it be sprite overs? Like physical blending of features, or does it have to actually connect sprite parts instead of scratching them?

Alright, I will be closing entries on Saturday (not the sprites, just new people) You are not in any rush except for the Friday the 24th deadline for splices.
