☖☠☗JAXCOB☗☠☖
There are two scenarios in RE2? Who else do you play as?
Saturn of Elemia
There are two scenarios - one for Leon and one for Claire. There are 2 discs for Resident Evil 2 - one for each character. When you beat the first scenario with one character, you can put in the next disc and play the second scenario as the other character.
☖☠☗JAXCOB☗☠☖
Cool, which one did you like better?
Saturn of Elemia
Sorry about inactivity. (Internet problems) Honestly, I like them all. I prefer the A scenario sine I don't have to deal with the Tyrant coming in at inopportune times and a lack of a good weapon early on.
☖☠☗JAXCOB☗☠☖
Dont worry i've been having them too :/ Lol, have you noticed in RE that if you selcet to play the girl character, its basically easy mode? XD
Saturn of Elemia
Because of the two added item slots from RE1 and having more support? They don't do that in RE2. Both characters have 8 slots to start - and ONE can get a side pouch to enable 10 slots. But yeah, it is a bit interesting. Of course, women have more hiding places then men. ☖☠☗JAXCOB☗☠☖
Plus Jill's free shot gun :/ (lol @ the mgs reference) So IGN gave RE mercenaries 3D a 6.5 which is a "Good" rating. Figures though since they made a mini game into a REAL game.
Saturn of Elemia
Chris could get that shotgun as well - but he had to find a broken one to replace the one he took. Otherwise, he would die when he left the room. (Yeah, Jill got off easy) Rule of Thumb: It's usually not a good idea to make a mini-game into a full-blown game. There are some exceptions, but not many.
☖☠☗JAXCOB☗☠☖
In some games I’ve played the girl character gets more health or an extra potion in their inventory (Sexist in games???) XD Yeah, well at least it’s better than the mini game in RE4 (the one where u have to shoot targets)
Saturn of Elemia
In the Resident Evil games, the girl characters always have lower vitality to balance out the usual added help and/or item slot. I thought that was actually kinda fun. Difficult, but fun.
☖☠☗JAXCOB☗☠☖
Tue, plus in RE1 they give Jill a dagger which kills a zombie, while Chris get a Taser :/ I liked it too, but I was never good at it XD
Saturn of Elemia
Ah, the protection items from the remake. Those were pretty useful - but they didn't work if the enemy grabbed you from behind. I RARELY had to use them, though. I always had enough ammo to go around. I was SOMEWHAT good at it. I never could get 100% on all of them. (And watch, that will be a trophy when it comes out for PS3)
☖☠☗JAXCOB☗☠☖
Ugh, if it does, I’m going scream like Wesker
Saturn of Elemia
I would not doubt that they would do something like that. I can handle Professional dificulty, but not having to ace all the stages in that mini-game.
Glitch
Sorry, can't join, I know nothing about resident evil. I just wanted to tell you you put
instead of
under members.
☖☠☗JAXCOB☗☠☖
Thanks for telling meh! I hate it when they give a really annoying mini-game and you HAVE to do everything perfectly.
Saturn of Elemia
That's how they get you. If you wanna get that trophy and/or bonus goodies, then you have to suffer through the tedious and boring mini-games. I would rather do the Krauser knife scene over and over again... ☖☠☗JAXCOB☗☠☖
Oh my god, I remember doing that like a million times. >.> I can still recite most of the entire scene!
Saturn of Elemia
I thought it was cool to watch, but hated that it was instant death if you missed it. Fighting Krauser when you have to kill him was harder IMO.
☖☠☗JAXCOB☗☠☖
For me, he's hardest when you fight him the very last time, but that's when you don’t use infinite ammo guns >.>
Saturn of Elemia
One time I ran out of ammo and was forced to use the knife for the last half of the fight. Lemme tell you, I ration my ammo in that game now and use the knife against standard Plagas whenever possible. It's surprisingly effective when you go for their face. ☖☠☗JAXCOB☗☠☖
I remember, in RE5, my brother had no ammo left and he killed the red machine gun dude with a knife XD
Saturn of Elemia
In the older Resident Evil games, I tried to avoid fighting zombies if at all possible. If there's enough room, then they are easy to dodge. Hell, in the beginning of Resident Evil 2 A scenario, you pretty much HAVE to run through groups of zombies to survive - since you don't get anywhere near enough ammo to take them all out and the knife is pretty much useless. Unlike in Code Veronica, the knife DOES NOT drop a zombie to the ground if you swing for the legs.
☖☠☗JAXCOB☗☠☖
That's how resident evil SHOULD be in every game IMO, a survival horror. That's why I sorta didn't like 5 & 4 even though they were great games. Limited Ammo, Crazy Puzzle, and Not be able to kill EVERY zombie in the game. Saturn of Elemia
I agree. It's not really SURVIVAL horror if you have the means to kill everything. Resident Evil 4 did keep some aspects of that - since you did have to kinda SEARCH for ammo and there were usually LARGE groups of enemies.
