It had Raiga, 1 of the Seven Ninja Swordsman as the bad guy with the thunder swords. While Raiga wasn't shown in the manga (though he might have been current gen, that's why), the swords were. Do you guys think the Kisame and Itachi going to Konoha in the origian series has always been planned as the "Itachi went to tell the elders he was not dead" thing, or just to introduce Akatsuki? Fusion X. Denver Posted June 25, 2011 Report Share Posted June 25, 2011 Kageroza is the current filler arc villain. As for Kisame and Itachi, that's a really good question. I've done that before in my fic, making simplistic things at the start become heavily important and tied to something else in a future arc, unplanned. The only reason I'd say Kishi planned that out is if it was just to introduce Akatsuki, Itachi and Kisame would have done more. And by that, I mean actually attempt to kidnap Naruto.
