RAEGING D0GKING Posted June 20, 2011 Report Share Posted June 20, 2011 [center][size="7"][b][u][i]Yugioh Card Maker Championship Series[/i][/u][/b][/size][/center] [font="Century Gothic"]Welcome duelists to the Yugioh Card Maker Championship Series tournament. This tournament will test your skills against the best DN has to offer in two rounds: A swiss, and a knock off round. There are several rules you must follow before entering this tournament so please read the rules carefully before signing up! [b]Tournament Rules:[/b] We will be using duelingnetwork.com for the whole competition, we may use YVD for some cases but we most likely wont. You can use any card that is in duelingnetwork. You must use the March 2011 banlist. You must stick with your deck, extra deck and side deck for the whole tournament. To win a match you must defeat an opponent two out of three times. Side decking will be allowed, but you will have to use the side decking rules. At the start of the duel you must stick with your side and you cannot change it on the first round, so if you know their deck and lets say its sams you cant just side kinetic soldier at the start of the first game. If you think somebody cheated and sided in on the first game then pm me and take a screenshot of them using the card. [b]Swiss Tournament Rules:[/b] The tournament will have 4-6 rounds of swiss. If you win you get 2 points, if its a draw, both players get 1 point each. If you lose you get no points. If a member goes offline for a long time without telling us, then the other player will get a 2-1 win. If both players are offiline for a long time without telling us, then both players will get a 2-0 lose. If both players cant duel because of different time zones, then a draw will be given. [b]Knock-Off Tournament Rules:[/b] There will be 8/16 players in the knock-offs. If a player loses he is out of the tournament and the winner goes to play the next round. There will be duels for 3rd place, 5th place and 7th place. [b]Side Decking[/b] Seeing as Dueling Network doesn't have a side decking option yet, we'll do it the other way. First, put your Side Deck together with your Main Deck. At the start of the duel, remove from play face-down 15 cards. Those cards are your Side Deck. After the first duel is finished, DO NOT QUIT. Instead, reshuffle all cards from your field, hand and Graveyard back to your Deck and reset Life Points. Then, you can side in/out by returning cards from your Side Deck (face-down cards removed from play) to your Deck and vice-versa. [b]Deck Profiles:[/b] Interesting decks and people who ask may get Deck profiles. If we choose you, you will pm us your full deck, how it has been doing in the tournament and how it works. [b]Application form:[/b] Dueling Network username: Your Time Zone: When you can be online: If in the next months you play any vacation/etc. longer than 3 days, specify when: Please pm me your deck. If you are gonna be gone on holidays for 4 or more days without the internet please tell us = I'm going away for a week on the 16th July without the internet. What is your GMT = British Summertime (GMT +1) What times would you be online by your time? = Mondays: 4:30 - 10:30pm Tuesdays: 5:30 - 10: 30pm Wednesdays: Not at all Thursdays: Either 4:30 - 10:30pm or not at all Fridays: 5:30 - 10:30pm Saturdays: If it's the last Saturday of the month then only during late evening (my locals is on the last Saturday of the month), otherwise normally all day Sundays: Only morning and perhaps at short intervals during the evening Detailed enough? I hope this means I'm still eligible :S What is your GMT = PST What times would you be online by your time? = I will be good during most mornings and after the 10th I will be good for the whole day. When ca you be online: Generally around 5:30 to 10:30. Over the summer, earlier in the days, but not as consistently... Weekends, most of the day. I will be gone most of July but I might be able to play a bit each day. I'll try to get in a few hours. I am back most of August, but once again, might not be able to play that much.
