Stupid things like snide remarks, too, Frunk!

No, really. That wasn't even cool.

I think people think those things when they truly know little to nothing about a place. They may resort to stereotypes to put down a place because of their (the person's) low security. That is, after all, what the main reason for being do bashful usually is.

i just find it annoying that the view of all can't do anything, i'll give you a example:
one day i was in a clinic for disabled people, my mum gave me a banana for lunch and she then went to the bathroom, and a american cleaner stopped my mum and said "are you sure you should leave him alone with that, he might hurt himself"

WTF! HOW CAN YOU HURT YOURSELF WITH A BANANA!, and what really annoyed me was that I HATE BANANA'S!!!
I don't know squat about making cheese and I don't eat cheese on a daily basis. I rarely even eat cheese. The only time I've gotten this problem though was in when I was vacationing in Florida when I was younger. Never on my burger too. And I'm not fat. Lazy yes. American/Wisconsin stereotype.

Yeah, if I go to the North, and they have seen Family Guy; they'll probably ask me, "Where's your Overalls and Big Buck Teeth?"
That was already there before Family Guy. <_<

You know... people in Wisconsin think people in Texas are Cowboys and Cowgirls, and Davy Crocket. People in Florida might take the "Cheesehead" thing seriously...

America can be stupid sometimes. It's because we assume before we know, then deny the truth. And I am an American. I can admit I occasionally assume.

I don't know a single person who thinks that.

Erm, Americans aren't the only idiotic society. See, people are talking about how stupid Americans are because they generalize too much...

Yeah, I'll give that a few seconds to sink in.

People at my school think that if you're Asian then you're automatically an otaku.

People at my school think that if you're Asian then you're automatically an otaku.

People at my school think that if you're Asian then you're automatically a genius.

And they find one of the... erm, dumber Asians and are shocked as hell. Like, jaw dropped and all.

Stereotypes can often be correct in judging the majority of a large population, but some stereotypes like Australians riding kangaroos are just so stupid you question where they even came from.

This too.
I know one Asian who finally passed his Freshman year of high school.
He should be a senior right now, but instead he'll just be a sophomore >.>
