When your opponent Summons a weak and helpless monster, sacrifice one of your own kind from your hand to kill it mercilessly.
Seriously, look at that cute little thing, then look at its effect. How could it ever be able to do something to... anything? :o

Discuss this card and why Naturias are so god damn cute.
I myself think a Konami employee was high when he created the cards... I mean, just look at Fruitfly: A fly with a strawberry, a blueberry and a blackberry attached to it! Whatever they were smoking, I want that stuff as well!

You see, when a female Praying Mantis and an opponent's monster get together... one thing leads to another...

More specifically, they need Special Summon-support IMO (That is not Gigaplant or that Beetle that needs to attack)

Decent ones:
-Mantis
-Bee
-Bambooshoot
-Cherris
-Butterfly
-Stingbug
-Sunflower
-Ant
-Cliff
-Vein
-Eggplant
-Rag Weed
-Ladybug
-Pumpkin
-Hydragea

And you're mentioning neither Pumpkin nor Hydrangea... you know, the 2 Naturias that actually are good at swarming

Forgot that couple... I was just mentioning from the top of my head.
Then again, that only proves my statement further. There are more than just a few good Naturias.

*Goes to edit previous post to add Pumpkin and Hydragea*

Better after Priority gets changed for sure. Hydragea isn't good for swarming, it has to be specialed on your turn.

Also, this will be better with priority so it can hit Lonefire.

Explain how it will get better with Priority.

You do understand that Mantis is a Trigger Effect right?

You also understand that Trigger Effects whose timings are correct have the chance to activate before your opponent can use Ignition Effects, right?

If your opponent summons Lonefire Blossom, your Mantis' Trigger Effect can and will activate first if you choose to use it, before your opponent can use Lonefire Blossom's effect.

It doesn't need the new priority?

Cool!

To try and make it clear, the rule in the OCG was changed to:

"Ignition Monster Effects cannot be used at the timing of 'A monster is summoned.'". That's all. It has no affect on how Trigger Effects work.

In the TCG, you still can.
