Pokemon - Tale of the Summoners (OoC/Accepting!)

Recommended Posts

Let's take a look back at the history of humans and pokemon. As two races that each dominate the surface, and in some cases skies and waters, of the Earth, these two species have impacted each other in ways throughout history we still may not fully comprehend. Most people today are rather ignorant of the past and the former relations Humans and Pokemon had.

Trainers as they are called today travel about the various regions of the world, capturing pokemon with devices called pokeballs to then use in battles, contests or other things. Sometimes the Pokemon and Human simply become friends and do little else than that. But regardless Pokemon are essentially dangerous wild animals until captured. From there on they become friendly or at least cooperative.

The past however was far different. You may recall hearing so called silly ideas that all parts of the world were once joined in one super continent? This was indeed the truth at one point in history, many centuries ago. Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, any and all regions one could think of were joined. And pokemon from all these regions moved about them all. Humans were much less wide-spread around the world at this time. There were not a few billion on the planet, closer to mid hundred millions. Humans did not have the convenient Pokeballs that we do today. If a wild Pokemon attacked a village, it was up to the people to either flee, or drive it away.

And for many years this was the simple relationship the humans and pokemon had. But there were a few instances where people noticed a sound seemed to draw attention from Pokemon. Distracted them, calmed them. And it was this idea that some humans toiled with until they created the Summoners or the Chimes. A strange instrument capable of producing six distinctive tones that carry for some distance. They found these tones could distract Pokemon but could not completely stop them. Something more was required.

At the time there were some of both species who favored wiping the others out. And long had they fought in an attempt to bring their goals about. Finally a group of psychic Pokemon approached a specific village of humans that were generally kind to pokemon. Together the two sides were able to propose an idea to attempt to establish better relations between the species.

Every year a ritual is held wherein young humans and young pokemon are brought together and matched as partners based off personalities and other such things. The human once given the Charms can then attempt to train the pokemon to respond to one of the sounds. If the human and pokemon are able to bond and become friends of sorts there are a few choices they had from there. One of the more common was to go off on a pilgrimage to the temples of each type of pokemon. Along the way perhaps befriending five other pokemon. Regardless the choice was theres on what they wished to do.

And while the ritual is again approaching, there is a certain air about the world. Some pokemon are more in tune with such things. There seems to be a force that would enslave one of the races. Moving silently until the plans are ready to enact.

To be sure there were many tales of young travelers attempting to befriend the pokemon they encountered. What all will your story entail?
I. All YCM Rules, including the Advanced Clause, apply here.
II. You may NOT Switch out Pokemon during battle, unless your first one fainted. If the other Trainer agrees, however, you may switch out.
III. Me, Fenrir and Andx all reserve the right to accept/deny your app and kick people from the roleplay, we all however (with the possible exception of Fenrir) are fairly laid-back people and hope we do not have to exceed anything other then a warning
IV. Pokemon that are Dark and Ghost type are considered monsters, SOME lesser cases may be able to get away with being a "Normal" type but don't expect people not too stop and stare as you bring a Spiritomb into their church!
V. Make your posts in the Third Person
VI. Do not make your Pokemon know moves like Hyper Beam off the bat. They will learn them later.
VII. Make 1 word in your bio green.
VIII. Do not have an infinite amount of items, or items that do not exist, are too powerful, are unavailable at that point, or anything similar.
IX. Listen to the Leader(s), and do not argue senselessly.
X. You have 1 chance to edit your app if it is rejected. If it is rejected again, you are out.
XI: Remove ALL Parentheses from the app.
XII: Try too be reasonable! Remember, all legendary pokemon are still just, well LEGENDS. We also will try too give you one of your choices as a starter but don't expect us too pick between Dratini, Zapdos and Mewtwo alright?

Hi, I'd love to apply for this RP ^^ Sounds a lot of fun. Anyways here's my app.

Name: Alice Sakurai

Gender: Female

Age: 15

Appearance: Alice is a rather lean and slender young girl standing at 5’2” with piercing red eyes. Her long, dark hair reaches down to the mid-section of her back and has sharp bangs that frame the left part of her face. She sports a dominantly red and black diamond-patterned opened jacket over a white button-up shirt and black singlet. Alice’s black cargo shorts extend down to her ankles and wears white shoes with black stockings. She also sports personal accessories to her style such as dark red arm bracelets beneath her jacket and a silver pendant in the shape of a pocket watch, but much smaller tucked inside her singlet.

Personality: Alice has a rather tomboyish attitude when it comes to battling, fighting with a burning passion. She lets on an arrogant, selfish, and conceited exterior, but on the inside is a really warm-hearted and sweet girl. She has a knack for athletic events, being an agile runner and swift swimmer. Alice has a large sweet tooth and a craving for meat, eating like a glutton. She often speaks her mind when she senses injustice and has a tendency to speak out of place when she disagrees with someone else in a rather obnoxious and outwardly fashion followed by a conceited laugh. Alice’s soft spot for cute things is her primary weakness, obsessing over them to the point of dazing off into her own dimension. Obviously, she loves cute Pokemon, but her competitive spirit overpowers her affinity towards them and prefers agile and graceful ones, being somewhat aggressive, but intelligent. She absolutely despises Pokemon she deems as “ugly.” Her favorite instrument is the piano, but finds the harmonica more suiting as it is “less of a hassle.” She also despises the heat and often takes off her jacket and shirt to cool off even in the most untimely of places.

Bio: As a child, Alice was spoiled by her rich family, eating sweets to her heart’s content and getting everything she had wanted, except for a Pokemon. She longed for one, but her status as a higher up prevented her from leaving for the outside world. Before her coming of age of 15, she studied voraciously, did manual labor, worked out in secrecy, and even taught herself to play the harmonica despite her family’s riches. Her longing to leave the house was fueled by her determination to battle as she watched and read plethoras of battle coverage. However, being caged and taught inside her own home leaves her naïve to the realities of the real world in which her communication skills are relatively awkward, making it difficult for her to befriend others. Thus, her tough exterior rises. She idolizes Fighting type Pokemon for their dexterity, strength, and versatility in melee and even special combat.

Name: Jesse Adams
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Appearance: Standing at about 5'7", Jesse has shaggy blonde hair that covers the top half of his eyes when he does not take care of it. He has a very light tan, and blue eyes that contribute to the look of fairness for his time. He tends to dress in shades of green, and he is fairly small for his age, being rather frail.
Personality: Jesse has a generally positive attitude towards people in general. Despite this, he tends to be shy, and nervous with people. Pokemon, however, are fine with him, as long as they are not Ghost or Dark. He has a special affinity for bugs that will cause him to become very defensive of them, and this carries over to any person who is truly important to him. The other notable part to Jesse is his love for music, which, depending on the style, can evoke the underlying emotion in the music in himself.
Bio: Jesse grew up in a small village near one of the monasteries, taking care of some Mareep the village kept as sources of food, clothing, and, when needed, heat. That is, until he was about 14. He went into the pasture one day to graze his Mareep, and he noticed one of them was behaving oddly. He saw the sparks on its wool, and tried to see if it had a temperature. As soon as he touched the sheep pokemon, it tackled him, and caused him to fall on a rock, and break his arm. He got away from the wooly pokemon, and ran back to the town, holding his arm, only letting go to open the fence of the pasture. Once in town, the town's medicine practicioner used a Spinarak to help make a cast for Jesse's arm, amazing him in the process. He had never heard of a Pokemon that could be used in such a way, having never seen Spinarak at work. Since then, he has been working with the doctor, to help out anyone who comes in with whatever ailed them.

Name: Cyra et Beliel
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Appearance: Cyra is a thin, near waiflike girl with long, unbound black hair that hangs down her back. She stands at a little above five feet, yet rarely rears to her full height in public. Her eyes are a bright green, which is considered bad luck at her home village; as such, she hides them from view when possible in public. While her hair appears mostly unruly, some token effort of reigning it in is taken, luckily allowing it to take on a half-passable gloss due to natural genetics. A long pair of bangs near her face frequently get in her eyes, requiring her to brush them away every few moment.
Cyra is a surprisingly pale girl, without any tell-tale signs of having worked outdoors. Likewise, her hands are lack working callouses, which is rare even on women in most villages lacking a temple. Her figure could be considered almost dainty, befitting of a shrine maiden or some other similar profession, even if her mannerisms do not. As her head is usually bowed and her slight form evidently unaccustomed to traveling, it frequently gives the impression of her being weak, and in peril.
Typically, Cyra will dress in loose, bright colors to deflect the sunlight from her skin, typically white robes, and preferably with a hood. Formless hooded robes provide the additional benefit of granting her anonymity, which she cherishes when possible.
Cyra is never seen without her walking staff, which is a six foot pole carved with various good luck symbols and messages from her clan. Various rings are woven into the top that jangle as they move, supposedly to ward off evil spirits and misfortune- in stark contrast to the other runes woven near the bottom, which spell out curses and enchantments for drawing evil towards one's self.
Personality: Cyra is quiet, unobtrusive as possible, and a walking doormat when it comes to things she isn't used to. She dislikes being around people, and will frequently take measures to avoid meeting them whenever possible- however, when in a confrontation, she never argues or makes excuses and indeed, seems to avoid talking whenever possible. She is very good at taking orders and following other people's advice, with one major exception: If it's a field Cyra is familiar with, she will not defer to anyone. She will back up her position with force if necessary, and much bile and venom will be spat trying to inform the poor soul who disagreed with her that they are incorrect, if they further resist. This is likewise extended to her enemies, to which she can be like a wild-eyed maniac towards.
Cyra keeps almost all of her emotions bottled up when possible, releasing them only outside the public eye. She is comfortable in her element -being alone- and dislikes when people try to intrude upon her life. That said, her lack of having met anyone who had taken too much of an interest in her is also a fundamental part of her identity; she wouldn't know how to react to someone too determined to speak with her on an even level. Cyra sees goals she needs to achieve, and people as sources of orders from which those goals can be accomplished; nothing else to her matters, truly, and she's never had a reason to want a purpose of her own. Content with following the advice of others, she dotters through life, never really taking her own initiative on anything.
Cyra's opinion on Pokemon is typical apathy, with the exception of two types. Ghost and Dark types she views with equal parts suspicion, hatred and kindredship- viewing them as demons as a sort, she finds it difficult to get too close to them, and yet simultaneously empathetizes with them. As such, she is comfortable fighting against them, as she sees it as excising the worst parts of herself- allying with them, on the other hand, is a more personally taxing problem. While she sees controlling them as absolutely necessary, she also can't bear to accept "herself"- the dark parts of her that she sees in them. As such, she keeps them at an arm's length- close at hand, but far from her heart.
Bio: Born to a village deep in the darkest parts of a forest, far from anything resembling a temple or monastery, Cyra et Beliel was born to a deeply superstitious and cloistered people who knew little of the outside world. Born with the unlucky green 'Spirit Eyes' and on the night of a new moon, she was christened with the title of "Et Beliel"- Or, "Property of the Demons". Shunned by many in her early years, most of all her own parents, Cyra grew but didn't thrive. The few times she was allowed to join in with the rest of society was trivial rote work- she followed orders, the same as anyone else, and preformed admirably. This being one of the few times she felt she had any sort of purpose in her life, she soon became a regular to this rote work- people telling her to do a certain simple task, and her actually going to complete it. Though the others feared and hated her to a certain extent, they were't loath to have an extra pair of hands around, and thus let her go about her business uninterrupted- even if most still wouldn't talk about her.
The village faced problems, however. The darkness of the pressing trees invited in the worst of pokemon kind to them- dangerous Ghosts, vicious Dark types that stole their food and children, tricky Psychics that charmed their villagers to their doom- and as the years pressed on, it became unbearable. Many of them blamed Cyra, the Demon Child that invited the other demons in- but others saw an opportunity to lift the curse. By offering the demon child up as a 'sacrifice' or 'tribute' to the dark forces, perhaps the forces of darkness would leave them alone.
As such, Cyra was told to leave, and to offer herself up to the forces of Darkness as a tribute by her village. She was granted a staff to help her on her journey, and the prayers of her entire village- the prayers to trade her life for theirs, so she would die and they would live.
Cyra saw no problems with this, even as she entered the final stage of being a summoner.
Preferred Starter: Shuppet, Misdreavous, Litwick, Sableye, Murkrow

Name: Ambrosia Waite
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Appearance: Ambrosia is 5'1" and has a regular figure. Her straight golden-blonde hair is often tied in pigtails, and her violet eyes are narrow but have a determined glare about them. She often wears a long-sleeved shirt, white jeans and ash black ankle boots with a canvas bag that is slung across her body from her left shoulder. Oddly, when she approaches furry Pokemon, she dons on a thick black coat, sunglasses, a white neck scarf which she pulls up to cover her nose and mouth, and a pair of rubbery kitchen gloves; she reacts almost like she's allergic to the Pokemon (hint). When she doesn't need her "protective clothing", she stows them into her bag.
Personality: Ambrosia is very brash, unafraid to do and think what she wants, and a little bit dim-witted. She often fails to understand other people's situations and sometimes their meanings; bearing that in mind, she isn't conceited at all, but one should never approach her for deep conversations. She values her friends and family and their respective Pokemon, and she is incredibly loyal to them; she's also quite open-minded, giving her a certain amount of amiable quality. However, her brashness also means that she always acts before she speaks, and there's a certain amount of pride as well attached to her, which commonly causes any of her mistakes to become full-blown arguments and a refusal to back down.
Bio: Ambrosia grew up as the daughter of a Summoner, and when she was about five, she was already showing a benevolent side to Pokemon. She loved playing with her father's Pokemon, but then a strange thing occured. When she was eight, she was playing with his Zigzagoon when rashes sprouted from her hands, and she started to violently sneeze. At that moment, her mother walked in and immediately took her daughter away from the Pokemon; it later transpired that she was allergic to fur, which threw into doubt whether Ambrosia could become a Summoner or not. Her parents fiercely argued over the subject for the following few months (her father wanted her to become one, whereas her mother was against it), and it climaxed into both of them screaming for a divorce. Ambrosia was deeply upset at the idea that they were going to split from each other over her allergy, and she eventually stopped them by proclaiming that she wanted to become a Summoner.
Although her mother was never really happy with the decision, Ambrosia convinced her with the argument that there are enough fur-free Pokemon for her to catch, not to mention that Ambrosia was passionate about Pokemon. She had promised herself to find a solution around her allergy, which resulted in her appearance as aforementioned. Seeing as there was no other possible objections, her mother reluctantly got over the whole incident, and sincerely began to look forward to seeing her daughter start her journey.
Preferred Starter: Tympole, Vanillite, Cubone, Petilil, Gloom
Summoner Style: She has a red and white melodica which she carries with her right arm. When she's not using it, she stows it into her bag.

ALRIGHT MULTIPLE RUSHED REPLIES!

Alice: Accepted. Honestly this is quite a good app for a person who's new too this stuff, hopefully you'll be decently active as well.

Ravenous Black: Pending. I'll check in with Fen and Andx for this, though it's a bit minimalistic I'm pretty sure you'll get in.

Blaze: Pending. In the same boat with Black, except your app is even more minimalistic...

Hydra of Thunder: Pending. This is a certainly interesting character for the setting and your detail is good as what I've read, unfortunately I feel the need to check with my co-leaders for this, you got my approval though ^^.

Naimo: Accepted. Not really much else too say, though allergies for Pokemon might not be TOO rare back then it looks good.

Catlover: Denied. No, just no.

I'll get too your starters when my co-leaders find the time to get on.

K so.

Alice - Snivy. She's selfish and arrogant on the outside? That actually makes it interesting if she gets a Pokémon that's the same.

Black - Joltik.

Hydra - Murkrow. This also means your accepted, and Murkrow is really one of the easiest to blend in Pokémon you picked, outside of Litwik.

Naimo - Vanillite. Would be really interesting to see a Vanillite starter. :3

Yo Proto! This looks pretty awesome! Hope my app is good enough for ya!

Name: Ryder Williams

Gender: Male

Age: 15

Appearance: Ryder is thinner than most boys his age, with rather long legs, and a height reaching about 5’11”. He has short, black hair in the style of a buzz-cut, and has hazel eyes. He wears a white, open hoodie that he always keeps the sleeves rolled up over his purple t-shirt with multiple paint splatter designs. Ryder wears black jeans that are slightly worn down on the knees, and a brown belt to hold them up. His shoes are blue with white laces, and he also wears a red armband around his wrist.

Personality: Ryder is an all-around nice guy when he’s around other people. He is very social and outgoing, and tries to make friends with everyone he meets. However, he is very talkative, and can go on for hours, switching from topic to topic instantly. This quality often leads the people that are around Ryder the most to find him annoying. Ryder’s favorite activity since he was young was running. Whenever he was bored or had nothing to do, he would run. Because he could be quite lazy at times, he would even run to avoid doing certain chores. One of Ryder’s more unpleasant qualities are his quick temper. When he gets into an argument, it can lead to him escalating things too far, and he comes off as a jerk. However, he is also a forgiving person, and therefore cannot stay mad at others, no matter what the reason is. Ryder isn’t afraid to speak his mind, and will not back down in a discussion. However, his pride can get in the way, as he will often ignore others’ advice or ideas if he feels strongly about his own. Ryder’s opinion towards pokemon is the same as his opinion towards people. He finds that they all have their roles in life, and that some will appeal more to others because of their behavior. His favorite pokemon are ones that seem more laid-back and fun loving to him, rather than angry or competitive. Ryder’s weakness is one that he finds everywhere. He always has an awkward time dealing with girls. While he can talk to them rather normally, he sometimes finds himself having a hard time apologizing correctly or figuring out what they could be upset about if he should argue with them or accidentally insult them. He can even slip up in battle against a girl if he should be distracted by their behavior. Ryder is very confident in his own skills, and the abilities of the pokemon he meets. He loves to battle because he enjoys it, and always tries his hardest.

Bio: Growing up, Ryder never knew his father. He had died of an illness before his birth, but Ryder was never too upset about it. As he got older, he knew that he would have to take care of his mom and be the man of the house. With this in mind, Ryder always acted kind towards his mother, and did what she asked of him. They lived rather comfortably, even though they did not have much money. Ryder made the best of what he had, and never complained about their way of life. Over the years, however, Ryder watched the world go by, and dreamt of going out to meet others, and make friends. Most of all, he loved the pokemon. Living towards the woods, Ryder was able to go out and run along trails, finding pokemon that resided there. Many were timid, but Ryder was friendly towards them, and found their habits funny and intriguing. Ryder never had any human friends, which is why he tries so hard to be the best person he can be, and make friends with pokemon. Now, being 15 years old, Ryder has decided to go out into the world. As he left, he bid his mother farewell, knowing she would be fine, and hoping that one day, he could make his name known throughout the world, as a pokemon master.

Name: Alex Galleo
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Appearance: Rather tall with sandy brown hair. He dresses in dark blue robes that are laced with constellations and on the center is the symbol of his faith the Green Sun. His robes are dirty and torn from his travels as is his face. Under his robe he wears a simple peasant outfit. His eyes are complete wrecks due to the accident so his eyes are bound with bandages.
Personality: Alex is a devout deoxist and believes in the great watcher who's eyes are the heavens and who's gaze gives light. When the Watcher wants his will carried out, he sends the great pokemon of many forms to guide humanity into the path of holiness. And so on like that. This religon is sortof persectured for accepting the darkness (for the many eyes of god are only visible at night) among other problems. Despite this Alex is devoted to helping people see the glimmer of hope that can only be seen outside the blinding glare of civilization, it... does not usually go over very well. Alex is generally distrusting of governments as he believes they consider the lining of their own pockets over the people because of this he avoids civilization when possible. Because of an incident he is completly blind, because of this he relies on his pokemon a lot for help. Which as a result has caused him to be very gung ho about trusting living things, even if he won't trust systems. Alex tends to be rather pushy with his religon as he basically tries to convert everyone but he is quick to stop trying to convert people once he knows they aren't interested. He also has a tendancy to look up, not for any religous purposes, he just likes the sky.
Bio: Alex was five when he learned to fly. His father had a beautiful pidgeot and he took Alex to the land above the clouds. It was then that Alex learned that was where he wanted to be. At seven, Alex learned how to fall. To be fair he WAS warned about trees. He landed on his face and should have died, however a wiseman well learned in the ways of Deoyxism was travelling by and by his and his pokemon's care, the only thing Alex lost was his eyes. Thus Alex discovered his faith. The wise man, the elderly Nevtown stayed to make sure Alex healed and under his tutelage Alex learned much. In time Nevtown left and Alex had to learn the religon on his own. In time Alex grew up and thanked his mother and father as he went on his pilgrimage to spread the miracles of deoxysim

Name: Darius Mawler
Gender: Male
Age: 17

Appearance: Slightly taller for a boy his age and very well-built. His arms in particular are very well built, given that he is a hunter and often uses a recurve bow. He has an interesting pair of foggy blue eyes, with messy black hair that appears to have a tinge of green. His usual attire consists of ragged leather, with a black cloth hood that he often has up to hide his face. His right arm is covered in bandages, from his hand to his elbow. His left hand has the typical hard leather bracer for protecting his bow arm. Of course, his quiver of choice is a standard belt quiver, with an ornate symbol of a Houndoom on it, for some strange reason..

Personality: Darius is antisocial, not because he's shy or quiet, but rather he has seen no point in being social. Couple that with the fact that he very rarely interacts with others of his kind, and you really have an outsider. Considering how Darius was raised, he is a very capable person and can take care of himself just fine. He's somewhat quiet, but only to observe his surroundings easier. He will speak when spoken to, but once again, only if it's important or actually requires him to respond. As mentioned before, he is very observent. He will never go into a new place or area without learning about it or scouting it out ahead of time. He is very cautious, making sure he succeeds and survives. If one were to pester him and bother him though, he would eventually crack. Since he isn't used to human interaction, notions of 'romance' and 'friendship' are strange to him. He's fearless and makes sure everything he does is perfect, anything less and he could be dead.

Bio: Darius was born in the countryside to an average farmer. His mother died due to childbirth issues, and thus was raised by his father. He had no siblings or pets, or even friends. At a very young age his father would teach him how to hunt with a simple sling, and then a bow and arrow. At around the age of 8, his town was destroyed by an enraged Tyrannitar. It happened very suddenly and very quickly, leaving Darius running away into the deep woods near his home, wondering what happened, and why. From a very young age he was forced to take care of himself. He was forced to pick off small Caterpie grubs to grudgingly eat, then learn to use a longbow and hope he could shoot down a Stantler. It's a miracle he even managed to get to the age of 13, and yet he did. He hardened himself both emotionally and physically, as to make sure he can survive. At a certain point in his life, he began hunting for a village. He would bring in a good amount of food by himself, and be given temporary shelter, cloths, and other items. He received several invitations to stay there permanently, but it was just not how he lived. Once he reached 17, some of the townsfolks insisted he try to become a summoner.
To this day, no one really knows why he agreed, of all people. Even when he was asked, he didn't say anything. He merely nodded his head and left.

Preferred Starter: Starly, Poochyena, Zigzagoon, Spearow, Croagunk
Summoner Style:: He does not use a proper instrument. Rather, he uses a series of whistles.

TRIALS TRIALS TRIALS

Trials are your first post basically, TRY YOUR BEST. Also a little bit spontaneous but... Trials will show what your character is good at/special skills they have. You can take them on in numerous ways but they should all be started and resolved in your first post.

Alice - A Ninjask has stolen an important scroll from a monastery, presumable on accident. The monks know of the Ninjask's location, but are unable to catch up with it. Your trial is to return the scroll. The area around the monastery and where the Ninjask is located, is very open with a few thin rivers. Note that there is an Aggron located nearby.

Jesse - Your trial is attempting to quell an Electabuzz bothering a fishing village. The Electabuzz has the head of an arrow in it's left foot, and an Ariados nest is located in the forest, so be aware.

Cyra - Your task is to put a Hydregion to sleep. It has decimated a village, and a group of knights is waiting nearby the village ruins to capture the beast, as they are unable to slay it. Your trial is to put the beast to sleep in some way. Let's see if your 'title' is true or not. The village in question is located in a deep forest; similar to your own home village. The town is famous for it's several bell towers.

Ambrosia - Your trial is to investigate disturbances in a nearby city, reports have stated it is a big Pokémon, but no one knows what quite. Others state that it's been various sizing. (Out of character; it's a Ralts creating illusions. Don't know how to hint that well enough without coming off as extremely specific/obvious.)

Ryder - Your trial is one of the hardest, yet also one of the most simplest of trials. Nearby the fishing village where Jesse is located, a Rhydon has been 'scaring' the village. It has not done anything yet, but they fear it will do something soon. That's the reason two summoners were sent there. The Rhydon dwells in a cave, and the cliff above the cave is very dangerous; rocks can fall at the slightly twitch.

Alex - Your trial is the longest, the monastery will entrust with you an egg and your starter. You will take care of this egg for an indefinite amount of time, and when it hatches you will be fully recognized as a Summoner.

Darius - Your trial is to 'negotiate' with an Aggron to move it's home away from a monastery. There will be a girl attempting to catch a Ninjask, but do not aide her, nor should she aide you.

Well we're not accepting anymore, and we have two people with reserves anyways.

But to answer your question, first of all your appearance was a picture, and while that isn't one of the main reasons, the appearance in itself did not fit the setting. The personality is short without much that properly defines your character, and your character has aspects of being a sue. (Mainly the fact that he's brave, bold, smart, was able to single-handedly find and lead a group of survivors at the age of 13/14/15, whatever age you had him do this.)
