Select 1 Synchro Monster in your Graveyard. Send the appropriate Synchro Material Monsters you control listed on that card to the Graveyard, whose total Levels equal that monster's Level, and Special Summon that monster. It gains 500 ATK. Destroy it during the next turn's End Phase.

I was originally on Haitus until September. I realised that it's not going to make a difference even if I come back in September, because the Konami cycle occurs again and again and defies the banlist. Konami are greedy as heck and make cards deliberately overpowered to get more money, and even the banlist is controlled by Money. The poor man cannot win a game at all, as the expensive cards are the only good cards, the packs are filled with mostly junk and when a good card comes out it's immediately made a Short Print Secret to make it's price stupid. All the online simulators annoy me, Mainly because I prefer the real thing. Oh well, Metagame can be fixed by taking a few simple actions, but Konami's "WE'VE GOT TO HAVE MONEY" Stance means it won't happen.

Yugioh at least remains the TCG with the most potential variety, Konami just need to get their act together.... shame they won't.

Didn't you spend a fortune on Six Sams and like £400+ on Karakuri?

Yeah, I'll still play at my locals, I guess. Konami's repeated Incompetence makes me want to cry sometimes. They need to follow in the example of good Publishers(See:Upper Deck, Wizards of the Coast) and start banning broken cards without thinking about their paychecks as much. I'd actually spend more on the game if I could play without winning/losing in 2 turns

lol, Konami doing something smart. Now that'd be a sight to see

Now THAT is true.

Just wondering, isn't it the same case in pokemon, except it's better to go 2nd? i think I read that somewhere in these forums...

And In magic, because you get an 8 Card Hand(Unless you Mulligan) While It is true that the foe can drop an Instant to stop your play, you never really make a play other than playing a land on your first turn anyway.

This is honestly horrible. Can only be used when a synchro is in the grave and adds another card loss of the synchro. Really, odds are if the synchro is that important you'll have multiples in the extra deck so no need wasting deck space on this junk.

Companies like to make money? SHOCKING! Good cards cost a lot while bad cards don't....it kinda makes sense to do it that way. Yeah it makes it so the rich succeed, but would you really care as to the social standing of those who win?

Konami makes no money on the secondary market. However, yes, the point remains that you need to spend a stupid amount of money trying to pull a Secret or Ultra rare and even then you might not get t eh right one. In all honesty the problem is Konami's inability to spread the good cards out among all rarities and not have the bulk cluster at the top of the tower.

I'll just pretend to understand what you're saying. ;)

This.

If this where released in MTG... And No, Postmortem Lunge does not count, because that's a screwed up Monster Reborn

I play this and Cardfight Vanguard. While Vanguard is better, it is too new to tell how it'll go.

Limit Extra to 5 Synchros with no duplicates and the game becomes infinite times better. But then Konami would get RAEG'd at for being Meklords and stealing their Synchros. Their reputation is so bad it doesn't matter what they do, kinda like the American government. =/

Yugioh has two format. MTG has like 20 (I can name 10 off the top of my head). Yea, MTG has A LOT more variety.

Not always. Player that plays first doesn't draw. This is done for tempo reasons since getting the first land drop is a VERY powerful thing.

Yea, I don't think they will RAEG, more so out and out quite. Doing something like that TOTALLY overhauls the way the game plays and it a jabroni slap to all current players. And you can't even argue that that should have been the starting rule because doing so greatly hurts synchros and as a new card type you would want to support them as much as possible. Its a damned if you do damned if you don't case imo.

I'm starting to slow down on Vanguard, because playing on CC is bad now that it lags a lot. Oracles have got 2 new releases since the start, and nothing really good has come from them. ='[

They have good cards spread out, they just keep the best cards at the top. In all honesty, I'd probably do the same. Although I would make other decisions that would make the game slower.

Magic Made Ponder a Common in M12. It's pretty much the same card as duality. A COMMON. Konami would herpderp make it a Secret to get moar m00lah. Thing is, Ponder is a reason I'm getting a box Of M12, and wth GENF sneak peek off my mind, I can easily afford one.

There is no point in comparing the two, as they have too many differences in game play.

Hmm... Depends.

If you run a control deck you get closer to having hard counter magic up faster. If you run an aggro deck you start applying pressure faster. Decks that like the draw are combo decks.

From my experience 90% of the cards were at the top. Even the handful near the bottom were at least rare. And with the archetype push they've been making for the past several years it's even worse since you often need one or two of the high rarity cards to make the decks work (LS with JD for example). The only example I know of that had most of the good cards at common were GBs but even they had Test Tiger. And granted, it's been over a year since a got any yugioh cards so that might make my views a little dated, but it doesn't seem like Konami has changed there ways much in this year.

O, also another major issue is how they take the good cards and boost there rarity when they come over stateside. And yea, I understand having the better cards at the higher rarity but my other major complaint is that the rarity system in yugioh is worse then horrible.
