Cards with self-destruct clauses (Call of the Haunted, etc) never start a chain.

Card is epic, but you really only want to use it with cards that have a purpose to being on the field for a long time. Also, since it doesn't negate targeting effects, you cannot chain it to save a monster being targeted.

Extremely broken and underrated IMO. Guy was running this in Sams, had it on a Barkion and I couldn't get round it. Then he Trunaded, did stuff, set it again and I destroyed it with Hyunlei, then he chained targeting my Faultroll. This + Shi En = gg. This + Bambooshoot = gg.

It rapes DAD, JD, Scrap Dragon, Brionac, Trishula...

So amazing. Especially with Mist Valley Falcon.

DAD and JD just destroy this too. Brionac can bounce it to destroy the target, but that's still an extra discard for them, so eh.

There are a lot of continuous traps that are great with falcon.

A neat card for both offense and defense. Save your card from destruction, destroy your opponent's cards, or prevent an opponent from attacking directly with a powerful monster. Lots of neat things to do with this card.

And of course as mentioned, lulz in Mist Valley. Thunder Lord is especially my favorite with this, since its effect is Spell Speed 2 and isn't a cost to return, can set up a chain with Thunder Lord as Chain Link #1 and Safe Zone as Chain Link #2, equipping and then returning it, destroying their monster, gaining 500 ATK. It can be done at almost any time since they're both Spell Speed 2. Thunder Lord can be used in the Damage Step too since it increases ATK (though Safe Zone cannot so you'd have to play it sooner than that).

The Mist Valley deck I run is a Dark Simorgh variant though, rather than pure Mist Valley.
