Dr. Cakey
Hallowed Life Barrier is SPESHUL because it stops all damage, not just Battle Damage. Legionnaire
Hey guise I prefer threatening r- *shot* I don't see a big difference, actually, besides using waboku when you need a monster to battle for its effect to go off. I don't remember why I prefer tr. Can you not chain this to an attempt on its destruction or something?

White Void
Tempted to run Hallowed Life Barrier + Rainbow Life Fableds for something completely random and wtf inducing after this thread. Waboku is still a solid card, just not really as necessary as it used to be since there's so many alternatives now though. Hallowed Life Barrier is one of those cards that proves Konami has a vendetta against burn decks for some reason or another.

[/quote] If your opponent attacks and you chain Threatening Roar, they cannot attack for the rest of the turn, but that first attack goes through, meaning Waboku is generally slightly better. The advantage of Threatening Roar is it stops GBs (and Catastor), while Waboku does not.
