[/quote] I said this last Saturday to someone because he believes, like so many others, that just because we don't play with the deck we have no clue how it works. That it utter crap and a fairy tale. This section knows (for the most part) how to run a proper deck, with cards that are strictly better by design. Treeborn Frog and the frog/undine engine is the best one can do for Monarchs, getting your infinite tribute fodder is the key for this deck. Your deck is by no means the worst this section has seen, but it does have it's flaws. Most in which are in the filler/junk cards. At least test out the changes that others are asking of you, the difference will be noticed. I promise. To the TC: I myself don't know how the Frognarch decks work, but I'm very sure its better than this deck you have here. You're running no way of continuous tribute fodder. Zauls Posted July 27, 2011 Report Share Posted July 27, 2011 Good Monarchs/Tribute Monsters that you should be running: 3x Caius the Shadow Monarch 2-3x Raiza the Storm Monarch 1-2x Mobius the Frost Monarch 1x Vanity's Fiend (or Archlord Kristya if you can get it) 1x Dark Dust Spirit those with the Frog/Genex Engine are your monster line-up, then run stuff like Battle Fader, Gorz, Tragoedia, Fishborg Blaster and Sangan. As far as spells are concerned, 3x Enemy Controller (get back Treeborn in Standby Phase, still in Standby Phase activate this to get control of opponent's monster by Tributing Treeborn, stil Standby Phase get Treeborn back. Change of Heart.) then 2-3x Soul Exchange and 1-2x Pot of Avarice (Soul Exchange and Avarice are some of the things you got right about the deck). Then just staples like 2 MST, Dark Hole, Monster Reborn, Book of Moon, Giant Trunade etc. Traps, you don't want many. Either run Treacherous Trap Hole and nothing else, TT and nothing else or a couple of Trap Stuns perhaps with TT. Extra Deck would be generic but with 3 Formula Synchron, Shootning Star Dragon and Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier. You probably could do without them if you're on a big budget. Don't tell me I'm wrong. I ran Formula Frog Monarchs for about 3 months and consistently topped locals with them, beating some quite good players. Follow this and you'll have a great deck.
