What's the point of life?

IMO, the point of life is to find it, the realistic point of life is to continue the human process of reproduction and thereby delay our extinction, but your own purpose in life can be defined by who you are and what you are, everyone has their own purpose in life, it could even just to live a normal life, but its still a purpose. The meaning of Life could be to just exist.

Read this somewhere:

"Becoming the ultimate you is the only goal in life. I once heard a motivational speaker say this words: 'Most people go die full. Full of abilities, dreams, and needs. Yet they never had the courage to go out and get them. Instead of dying full, I challenge you to die empty. Live your dreams until there is not one left, use your abilities to their fullest, and get what you need.' - Les Brown (quote not original;from my memory)"

Suicide Bombers already do that and is really saddens me.

Why blow yourself up? You're gonna die eventually, but you'd be better off just throwing the bomb to live to kill more people another day.

But I've always felt like I'm special! Shouldn't I have some kind of destiny that sets me apart from you peons?

At this rate, you're going to be chased back under your bridge by an angry mob and be FOREVER ALONE.

For example, OP's meaning in life is to be worthless, because people who think they're important, never are.
Absolutely hypocritical of you, N.

Having a grandiose attitude to the point where you believe you can judge the worth of another is absolutely hypocritical. If you hold to your statement, still believing you are in a place where judging his worth is right, then you're the worthless, self-centered one.

I will tell you my friend,
no matter how you lived your motive for life
it was a motive you chose on your own free will
it was not given to you, perhaps presented to you, but certainly not given, shoved into your hands

and so it doesn't matter if your motive of life or your deepest beliefs cease to exist
because they are your guide, not your master
let your self wander for a while
you will chose another destiny in time

as you can tell many destinies revolve around reproducing and dying, and it isn't wrong. It just works for them and there is no point in judging that.

even if your destiny is to die wondering why life exist, the un-cease of your effort may have been your purpose
and I'll tell you that's a lot more admirable and honorable than people who have just given up on searching for "onward" and criticized others for trying.

wouldn't you say so bru?

My deepest beliefs have just been shattered, what should I do?
Beliefs are shaped. The way I see it, the meaning of life is to make improvements in general. What those improvements are is dictated by your morality/ethics/beliefs. Because poor morality leads to actions seen as improvements that aren't actually improvements, parts of it naturally need to be shattered in order to shape it for the purpose of making better improvements. Your beliefs' improvement will lead to the improvement of what you do.

Have fun. You learn to work to make money to buy things to have fun. You survive to have fun for longer.
Meaning of life is fun:
If I have fun murdering whoever I see, does that mean I lived a good life?

The point of life is "life". Once you die that's it, you die. So you gotta live your life and live it well. Of course there are multiple sub factors as well. For instance if you do something bad to someone what's the point? If you murder someone or rape someone your life is inherently bad to everyone else. There's no point in living that way. That's why you gotta live your life good. I'm not saying be a saint. Everyone has faults. It's a natural human thing. The point is to live your life as good as possible. Nobody knows what comes after life after all. People can say they do but there's no real proof that what they say is correct.
