evilfusion Posted August 27, 2011 Report Share Posted August 27, 2011 The problem with this is it shuts down an entire mechanic for a small cost and pretty much gets you plusses by destroying the card attempting to Special Summon/be Special Summoned. A further advantage is if you already brought out a big monster. Also, a number of cards bypass it entirely, such as Vayu, Treeborn, and Grandmaster.
