Marco Polo
Hey everyone. Lately I've been trying to create something which could go with that awesome tour guide card, But I later dumped that idea and moved on for a solo. Pic by fuzzyzombielove from Deviantart.
Spider Seductress [] [ Fiend / Effect ] You can reveal this card to Negate the Summon of a monster or the activation of a Trap Card and destroy it. When your opponent Special Summons a monster, Tribute this card and take control of that monster. You can only activate each effect of "Spider Seductress" once per duel. ATK/ 1300 DEF/ 1600
Quick analyze - It's quite a powerful solemn; It's second effect is mostly a drawback as none will usually be stupid enough to Special Summon something strong while this t-thin-thingy is on the field and if they do, they usually deserve it. If they're not however, they'll usually special their weakest. Feedback could be nice. BFG Studios
pretty good idea... i really like the second effect since my opponents usually have better monsters than i do lol i also like how you're trying to threaten them by showing it them and going heehee 9/
.Rai
Broken. Thank you for letting every single deck have 3 extra copies of Solemn Warning which is also a Level 3 DARK Fiend-Type that can be used for Rank 3s with Tour Guide and is also a watered-down Thunder King Rai-Oh. Also, since once is not enough:
Broken.

Also, since once is not enough:
1."Once per duel" 2.There are plently of Level 3's Fiend-Types. I will take it as pure criticism this time ignoring what happened, but do not get carried away this time please. I will see what I can do.
.Rai
1. Once per Duel means nothing. It just means you can't recover it to use it again. But even then, it's still Solemn Warning if you run 3 copies. If you want to make it so you can only use it once, regardless of which copy, you must say: "You can only use the effect of "Spider Seductress" once per Duel." 2. But they're all bad and terrible, and this one is actually good. Too good. Godly.

Synchronized
Broken. Glow-Up Bulb is once per duel, too, and that's done the game no favors. If it had only the Tribute/Special Summon effect, it'd be fine, but the costless "reveal" in your hand is way too much.
♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥
It's still pretty broken. You can reveal it and SS it using Tour Guide in the same turn without hesitation for any Rank 3 Xyz. Anyways. Like it has been said, Once per duel doesn't mean much. It usually just takes that one turn to do the trick and make things go boom. It is an interesting concept, however. Discarding it could fix that, although it'll water it down a tad much, taking away from its intended use.
ragnarok1945
broken since you can take control of ANY monster you didn't even say the control of the monster is a temporary effect, so obviously it's going to be used for synchro/XYZ monsters
Marco Polo
Well point is not making inferior cards to already existing ones. The reveal is the main point and the drawback is the second effect, ofcourse it takes your opponent's monster but any opponent would know how to use that effect in his favour. Honestly I don't see it so broken since every of today's decks are usually Normal Summoning something, then go on and Special a bunch of monsters. This is suppoused to be a powerful card, such as Tengu, Tour guide, Solemns, Sangan. However if it's that unplayable I might add a small restriction to balance it more. .Rai
This is suppoused to be a powerful card, such as Tengu, Tour guide, Solemns, Sangan.
Tengu was terrible card design and shouldn't have been made. Tour Guide was made to break Xyzs and Sangan on purpose. I mean, look at its stats. Terrible card design. The Solemns are Limited/Semi-Limited and making cards that either have a self-restricting clause or would be on the banlist straight away is bad card design. Just make something balanced instead of an OPed card with "You can only use it once per duel".
