[Marco Polo's Singles] Joan - The Liberator

Recommended Posts

Hello guys, I'm about to finish a trilogy of my singles and leave it for a while, as posting a single every day isn't very dignifying.
Making this one was a pain in the ass though, I made the render; using a pic from Deviantart and a background I found.

Anyways! can anyone guess the historical figure this card's based on? :P (eff semi-related)

Once per turn, if your opponent has more face-up cards than you do, you can destroy 1 card on the field. You can halve this card's ATK until the End Phase to allow it attack your opponent directly.

ATK/ 2200 DEF/ 1800

So.. any idea who that might be?

Joan of Ark. Led nearly 2,000 (source is still to be identified) troops to battle in 1066 in the Great Crusades. When she was returned from war, she was burned at the stake because everyone thought she was crazy. In 1100, King William proceeded to conquer all of Eastern Europe under the control of the Protestant Church. Obvious histroy fanatic is obvious. :)

About the actual card: The burn effect is good, and it sets up nicely for when you can activate its other effect, allowing you to attack directly at the cost of 1100 ATK points.

I think this card is meh-ish, but that's just me.

Decent for a Level 5, but could be oh so much better. Oh well, still decent.
