It may be because, in all of YGO history, that pairing may be the closest thing to an actual romantic relationship. In other words: When a sadomasochistic hermaphrodite demon and an emotionally unstable Scrappy love each other very much...you get an [i]emo[/i] Scrappy who is slightly more emotionally stable and has glowy eyes. They did the standard (and for this part, I want you to picture two of the stick figures from Zero Punctuation) "imply imply" "vaguely sexual pseudo-tension", which I don't consider to actually be a relationship, except for the people [s]who I detest to the very core of my being[/s] who are totally engaged in a completely acceptable activity who decide to draw in romance where none exists. 2. Season 2 exists. All characters were reduced to cardboard cutouts, which is especially creepy because Yusei was [i]already[/i] cardboard. 3. Season 2 exists. Instead, you have to Summon Yubel and Neos and Tribute them for this. That said, its effects are all epic. The problem is Neos and Yubel just...don't play well in non-dedicated decks. Sure, you can use Prisma or Hero Mask or Foolish Burial and then a ton of other awesome cards to bring both out (or monsters with those names), but then you ALSO need this in your hand, and its decidedly unsearchable. The effort is overwhelming, even for such a cool card. It doesn't even have to destroy the monster it battles with, and inflicts burn and increases your LP. It can't be destroyed by card effects and 3000 ATK is usually good to cover battle. *sigh* Fusion would have made this so good. Especially if you consider Fusion Gate and Chain Material, to drop 3 of these and have them survive the same way Vehicroid Connection Zone or Gaia Drake Summoned by Summoner of Illusions does.
