Granel is good, but it's only a beatstcik, this negates a spell card as well AND if your LP are lower than 5000, Wisel >>>>> Granel Skiel? On the other hand Wisel can go in more varied decks than Granel (I think) since it doesn't matter when you get him out on the field, it'd still be at 2500 ATK. Situational? This card could be useful in most decks. And in today's meta, monsters are destroyed as often by effects as they are by battle, so its summon is super easy. And as Konoe said, if you're doing it right this card can be brought out with no effort. the only situational thing is the synchro-related effect, which is more like a bonus, so I don't see why you'd say it's situational at all.... [/quote] I think you're missing how Granel could use the absorbed monster during the opponent's battle phase, redirect attacks, then REABSORB it.
