Probability of Opponent Drawing 6 cards: 1/8 Probability of Opponent Drawing 4 cards and you Drawing 2: 3/8 Probability of Opponent Drawing 2 cards and you Drawing 4: 3/8 Probability of you Drawing 6 : 1/8 Thus Average Pay Off = 1/8*5 + 3/8*1 - 3/8*3 - 1/8*7 = -1 Thus, this card is a -1.
