Toffee.
Believe it or not, the last time this card was discussed, was 2008. Discuss.
Agro
People don't run it that much anymore. Caius and Raiza are more versatile, but I've always like mobius. 3rd best Monarch, followed by Thestalos.

NumberCruncher
Card is awesome, but outclassed in Monarchs by Raiza, Caius, and that new Spirit monster.
Bob the Rainicorn
I actually think Thestalos is a good candidate for the space of Mobius. Chaos being really popular, hitting the big cards is fun. Last format, Mobius served a larger purpose with Fishborg, being able to make Shooting Star Dragon on its own. Flame Dragon
I don't know why, but seeing this makes me think of this. Guess it is the Frost. As the 2nd Monarch you can really see how far the archetype has come. Still, it is a +1, so it still has something going for it over the others.

Birkeland
Always welcome in Frognarchs. Not a bad eff (S/T destruction is very good), just outclassed by far.

evilfusion
Mobius is in danger of triggering Starlight Road. I've beaten a Monarch deck simply because of that.
Expelsword
Mobius is in danger of triggering Starlight Road. I've beaten a Monarch deck simply because of that.
I can do you one better. Playing Flamvell/Assault: TURN 1 *Has no monsters* *Sets Assault Mode Activate, Starlight Road, and Seven Tools* *Opponent sets Treeborn and a bluff Avarice* TURN 2 *Draws Assault Teleport* *thinks FUUUUU- ends* *Opponent summons Mobius* *Starlight Road* *Assault Mode Activate* "Thanks for using that Mobius. Otherwise I never could have done anything!" *Opponent flips table*
Brinolovania
It freezes things. Not as good this format, when you already have lots of S/T destruction...
CDDRodrigo
Ho-Oh would also trigger Starlight. But that's probably aside the point.
Lunar Origins
I always liked the Monarchs, with all of them being good in their own way. Except Kuraz. He is in no way, shape, or form a real man. KURAZ IS NOT A REAL MONARCH. YOU HEAR ME TCG? I DENY IT. OT: The only Monarch that looks even remotely regal; I love it. Might put in side for lulz. Ieyasu Tokugawa
If your opponent has more than 1 face down spell or trap both this and Ho oh would probably trigger it, since you usually hit 2 spell/traps with this card when you can.
