This first bit about being a dead draw if your opponent has a Field Spell out is unnecessary. The Field Spell doesn't have any real effect until you get 3+ monsters on the field, and most decks with field spells can get them out faster than Ice Barriers could.

The number of Ice Barrier monsters you need to get the desired effects are a little high. When is a person going to have more than 3 Ice Barrier monsters out at a time. The spell only promotes overextension. each of the effects should require one less Ice Barrier monster.

The problem with Ice Barriers isn't so much using numbers to their advantage, but getting a good field set up going. That being said, you might try looking up Preacher of the Ice Barrier, as that card makes Ice Barriers a usable deck.

i see. i guess the amount could be 1 card less, i already know about preacher btw. i just wanted to make a field spell card for the deck (w/o making it broken) The effect for those that cant read the lore is "This card cannot be activated if there is a Field spell card face up. As long as there is a Ice Barrier monster on the Field, this card cannot be removed from the field. while you have more than 1 Ice barrier monster on the field, the following effects are active,
2 or more: Ice Barrier monsters cannot be banished
3 or more:Ice Barrier monsters gain 500 atk
4 or More: Ice Barrier monsters cannot be destroyed by monster effects"
i lowered the amount of cards needed so that the card would be a bit more useful.
and there is a way to bypass the cant activate effect. just set it. your opponents field spell will go away then activate it >.>

[center][center]Agreed with Icy, the card wouldn't serve much a purpose at all.[/center][/center]
[center][center]The field should:[/center][/center]
[center][center]1) Not have the first bit. Yes there is a way around it but waste of space.[/center][/center]
[center][center]2) Help swarm and strengthen your monsters without the requirement of a certain # of them.[/center][/center]
[center][center]3) Ice Barrier are semi-control, so it would be cool to help that factor. Also, if you have 3 or more Ice Barrier, draw support would help since they shoot their hand to the crapper with their Synchros.[/center][/center]
