NumberCruncher Posted September 21, 2011 Report Share Posted September 21, 2011 This first bit about being a dead draw if your opponent has a Field Spell out is unnecessary. The Field Spell doesn't have any real effect until you get 3+ monsters on the field, and most decks with field spells can get them out faster than Ice Barriers could. The number of Ice Barrier monsters you need to get the desired effects are a little high. When is a person going to have more than 3 Ice Barrier monsters out at a time. The spell only promotes overextension. each of the effects should require one less Ice Barrier monster. The problem with Ice Barriers isn't so much using numbers to their advantage, but getting a good field set up going. That being said, you might try looking up Preacher of the Ice Barrier, as that card makes Ice Barriers a usable deck. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As long as there is a Ice Barrier monster on the Field, this card cannot be removed from the field. while you have more than 1 Ice barrier monster on the field, the following effects are active, 2 or more: Ice Barrier monsters cannot be banished 3 or more:Ice Barrier monsters gain 500 atk 4 or More: Ice Barrier monsters cannot be destroyed by monster effects" i lowered the amount of cards needed so that the card would be a bit more useful. and there is a way to bypass the cant activate effect. just set it. your opponents field spell will go away then activate it >.> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yes there is a way around it but waste of space.[/center][/center] [center][center]2) Help swarm and strengthen your monsters without the requirement of a certain # of them.[/center][/center] [center][center]3) Ice Barrier are semi-control, so it would be cool to help that factor.
