TwinSeed
Yeah, so, I went to my city's fall festival (just a time to mingle and sell home-made stuff during the season of Autumn) and saw about 2 or 3 cosplayers (they were separate). One of them, I couldn't tell what she was going off of (pink hair and a short dress/skirt is all I remember). Though, another guy was wearing an Akatsuki robe xD Discuss times when you've seen cosplayers in places that you wouldn't expect.

Anyways, yea, I know someone here who is cosplayer. As Jack Atlas (YGO5Ds) and something else... It's starts with a P.
Darth Revan of the Sith
Saw a couple of guys dressed up as Italian Soldiers swordfighting with another guy dressed up as Ezio Auditore in a parking lot... Can you say winning?
Tourmaline
I've been contemplating and found out yesterday I have at least one willing friend. I may do so sometime this or next year.
Lunar Origins
I ordered a Kamina cosplay costume off the internets, glasses and all I've never seen a cosplayer in my life, though.
TwinSeed
If I went to a convention or something, I'd probably cosplay as... hmm... 1) some yugioh monster, 2) some female from mainstream anime.
Βyakuya
I know some people who do that, whom in fact are my friends. I'm planning to cosplay as L for Halloween.
Shradow
I went to a con last Easter and I cosplayed as Wrath from the first FMA. This time I'm going as the Black Knight from Fire Emblem.
Akira
Well on the way to an anime con, a friend of ours cosplayed Hatsune Mikuo (male miku) and surprisingly she didn't get any funny looks on the tube trains. Guess people just expect to see crazy stuff; it's London after all.
Grunt Issun
Well this halloween, me and my friends are Cos-playing as Steve.

Blocky body and all. Does that count? Headmaster Monokuma
I've thought about it before. Recently decided if I ever do cosplay, it'll be as Grit, my avatar, or this awesome guy.

As for the topic... I saw two guys cosplaying as Jedi's at school one day. Kinda weird I guess.
Akira
Oh yeah forgot to mention. I cosplayed Axel Stone from Streets of Rage. Ended up taking the gloves off though because they were cheap and started leaving a weird black residue on my hands =w
Icy
Not exactly a fan of "cosplay" as a term, Costumes still sound better imo; if implied less serious but it is just a hobby. Unless it's your job... but... another time. That aside, I have honestly never seen someone dressed up as a character at a poor time. And there really isn't a poor or awkward time, if it makes them comfortable and doesnt harm anyone then we're not to judge; hell support them. Though, I kind of wish they were more common here. Hawaii needs some variety.
.Corgi
I cosplay as the easter bunny sometimes.
TwinSeed
Icy: Who said "poor or awkward time"? I just didn't expect it, considering that this isn't really the kinda city for that kind of thing. I was gonna go up and talk to the girl, but couldn't escape my family >.> (we had to stick together because it was a big crowd). If I had the opportunity, as in a friend dressing up and going with me, I'd (seriously) go into a big mall and window shop like that :
Clair
For Halloween, our group went as ninjas and scared the hell out of a local McDonalds. Class act.
