About 6 to 8 months ago a friend got me back into playing Yu-gi-oh. At that time I never really heard about people playing it and naturally assumed that nobody did. After I started going to the weekly tournament i noticed a decent ammount of people from my high school that played. Still im not going to bring my cards to school lol.

One of life's greatest lessons about the "public zoo"/School, besides the "Always Bring A Pencil Or Your Grades Are Dead" lesson

In my school NOBODY plays YuGiOh, I've only seen 4 people playing it, 2 of them were about 8-10 years old, the other 2 were my 2 classmates, but don't play anymore, we like to play the regular cards, for now thats the graze of this school

The reason people above the age of 11 who play yugioh get made fun of' date=' is because yugioh involves fantasy. Fantasy is typically associated with younger kids. If you're into the TV show aspect of yugioh and you're older than 11, it just means your brain isn't maturing as fast as others, that's all.[/quote']

I've only watched about 6 episodes of Yugioh in my entire life. I got into Yugioh cards because they were 'the in thing' and never really got over dueling, unfortunately, almost everyone I used to duel has.

Dude, i've faced countless noobs that don't know how to play Yu-Gi-Oh play with Jadens Deck. And i've faced numerous people that have experience play with E-heroes and Neo-spacians. They all don't play well. They see the show and expect some magic to happen and summon some card that doesnt exist, like Jaden. It's just annoying to see that. I've studied the deck, and sure it can win...if the opponent plays nothing or forfeits. And yet now they have characters in that show with greater cards lose to that guy(Jaden). Please tell me that most of the decks you've seen include cards from the Metagame? People, for info on this here's a site i've seen that seems pretty harsh...but most probably true, maybe. What do you think?

I'm afraid you guys are mistaken. Elemental Heroes CAN win in a competitive environment, but it must be a certain breed of E-Hero deck: the non-fusion Elemental Deck.

Basically the plan:

3 x Elemental Hero Ocean

3 x Elemental Hero Wildheart

1 x Elemental Hero Stratos

2 x Snipe Hunter

1 x Morphing Jar

3 x Lightning Vortex

1 x Confiscation

3 x E - Emergency Call

2 x Reinforcement of the Army

1 x Mystical Space Typhoon

1 x Heavy Storm

1 x Premature Burial

2 x R - Righteous Justice

1 x Swords of Revealing Light

3 x Skyscraper 2 - Hero City

3 x Trap Dustshoot

3 x Pulling the Rug

1 x Call of the Haunted

3 x Magic Drain

2 x Solemn Judgement

1 x Gravity Bind

(The rest of the deck is a matter of preference.)

SIDE:

3 x Threatening Roar

2 x Exiled Force

2 x Shrink

2 x Bottomless Trap Hole

3 x Des Wombat

2 x Royal Decree

The point is to simply swarm the opponent. Stratos keeps coming back for searching / s/t killing, Wildhearts' batting through recruiters and should you ever get out-swarmed Vortex is there to counter it. Snipe's here to break locks and Morphings' a start-over. They key is Hero City: reviving Stratos and lost Wildhearts, and allowing Ocean to keep coming back. So if anything should get wiped OUTSIDE of battle, Oceans' there to keep the cycle going.

I got into it because it was kindof a craxze at my school, but then I stayed with it kinda cause I like the art on the cards. And the Holofoil cards are shiny. But the show has a dumb-ass plot.

One kid made fum of me and my freinds for playing, and I used my knoledge of anatomy to paralyze his arm. From there I got about 3 cheap shots.
