There must be SOMETHING that can be used with this thing. Disc the worst Number.

OT: It's cool in Piper Turbo, but its stats make it hard to Survive for long.

From a logical standpoint, not every Number is going to be good. Goldrat has the interesting distinction of being a CAMEO Number and nothing else. We didn't even see its effect in the anime, and it pretty much existed for Kaito to debut and take.

But what is wrong with all the Rank 1s? Baby T(i)ragon, Galaxy Queen, and Goldrat are all terrible and require 3 Materials. Granted, 2 Materials would probably make it too easy to Summon, but come on, the subpar effects and the difficulty in Summoning just makes Rank 1 itself look like a joke.

The worst Number because its effect doesn't even help you out much, and the card would actually be OKAY if it had the "Cannot be destroyed in battle, except by another Number" effect.

You do realize, that they literally made up this card's effect?
Goldrat [i]ONLY[/i] existed for about 5 seconds, as Kaito did Galaxy-Eyes Photo-Derp-Dragon for game, and proceeded to steal his soul.

Yuma was unaffected by the time-freeze because he had Numbers. Kaito explained this during their confrontation. The duel started, Astral noted that a duel was starting, and then the guy screamed. Then the opening plays, and Number 56 is inexplicably on the field, and Galaxy-Eyes attacks for game.
