Xyz are not affected by anythign LEvel Related. The only one that works, off the top of my head, is Give and Take, and that's because it's an after effect that doesn't really matter.

I really should read cards properly when I get them, and do it several times. Because I bought the Dawn of the Xyz starter deck a while ago, got this, and have since been under an illusion of stupidity that it was a 'once a turn, select and make level 3 until end phase' jobbie. *Facepalms for stupidity*

Oh well no big deal. I like this card.

From what I can tell Xyz monsters aren't affected by nor can be targeted by any card that affects Level or uses it as targeting parameters. Since Feedback Warrior says that the targeted monster "becomes level 3" I would think that an Xyz Monster would be a suitable target. Kind of like if a monster had an effect that said "This card's attack cannot be decreased" I would be able to use an effect that changes it's attack to 0, like a Reptilianne.

Xyz CANNOT have levels and are unaffected by level-involved things, unless it is not part of the original effect used, IE Give and Take.

This card doesn't have a level to change.

Exactly. Xyz don't have Levels. Effects that have to do with or affect Levels simply do not work on Xyz Monsters. They cannot be given a Level because they don't work with Level cards. Only Ranks.

The only way an Xyz monster can have an Xyz monster as Material is Chaos Number 39, and that's a special Summon condition.

This situation is not the same because the monster still has an attack stat. Unlike Xyz that don't have a level.

But it's not changing a level, it making a monster become level 3. I'll concede though, all arguments are solid.

Maybe a better way to say it would be: "Its Level becomes 3", since that requires it to have a Level to begin with. But why should the Easy Card Text make things easy?
