Ninja wigglytuff Posted October 24, 2011 Report Share Posted October 24, 2011 I'm sorry, I'm new here, but even so, my whole deck is based around master hyperion and it kicks ass. Anyone claming that it's overpowered has obviously never used it. Yeah I beat alot of people in duels but I still get beaten more than I win and I've been boosting the origional sanctuary in the sky deck for about a year now. I think someone said they can't wait for it to limited to one? Yeah, it probably shoud because one's all you need. Sanctuary in the sky, normal summon agent of mystery earth and add master hyperion from your deck to your hand and then special summon by removing agent of mystery earth from the field. It's a good card! when people say it's impossible to beat or hard to get rid of that's not true. I was dueling my friend on sunday and he had a higher ATK monster that just kept wiping the floor with me because Hyperion's only got 2700. Either that or a few trap cards or spell cards even. All you have to do is remove it from play. If you're going to say how you don't like this card because it's too strong, maybe take a look at Yubel, relinquished, cyber end dragon, out of all the rediculously strong cards you choose this one to single out? Why? hell, even stardust dragon makes it look like crap and none complains! Lonk Posted October 24, 2011 Report Share Posted October 24, 2011 Since Machina Mayhem, SDs have been impacting the meta like a fist to the face by the strongest man in the world, all because of a card that either makes use of a current card(s), inevitably breaking them or are broken themselves.. Fortress was very easy to summon, searchable and could be a pain on the field, but it was nothing too serious. Next came Dragon Ravine, which allowed for Dragunities to enable first turn shenanigans (First Turn Level 8 Synchro, Popping 2 cards, ect). Again, not too bad. Then, this card came. It's too easy to summon and blows up cards in addition to being a 2700 beater. Now you know it gets bad. Then Grapha came and it is just as bad with not only popping a card when discarded (or SSing a monster if discarded by your opponent), but is pretty much a nuisance if you couldn't get it out of the Field and Grave.. Now Pulsar comes and it leads to gg most of the time in conjunction with REDMD. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If never misses the timing, but When misses the timing for optional effects, and Pulsar was optional. The biggest difference with Pulsar was that if it never missed the timing, then the designer was utterly stupid, and not just power-creep at play. Pulsar is still really good, because it can still SS REDMD when it's destroyed by a card effect or battle, but it's not ridiculously broken. I seem to recall every SD boss (except Dragunity Leyvaten) being heralded as broken. Machina Fortress was the first, then Hyperion, then Grapha, and...well, Pulsar made sense in that context. These days, Fortress isnt that godly, Hyperion has a busted deck, and Grapha...that card is messed up, but Gates and Snow really helped. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
