I play it at 1. And I love that combo. Everyone's like "omg no -2", but once you drop Odin, especially turn 2, it's pretty much a lock for victory if your opponent can't play around it.

vanadis is only good if you have a load of nordics on your field to sync it with. i'll give it credit that it sets up for BLS easily though.

yes, the goat is good. however it only has 3 targets and most of them wont even guarantee you a synchro.

name a good level 7 synchro you can get with guldfaxe(?) and the black goat.
and i meant the aesir syncs, but others are easier IF you have other monsters on the field.

This isn't the best... It's a pretty meh tech at best, in all fairness. Most of the time your opponent will just wait for you to drop Odin before Warning it, which will lead in you being at a massive disadvantage afterwards. I'd much rather just run Vanadis and use the set-up I already have, to be honest.

oh, fyi. Black Goat is by far the best Nordic monster.

- Normal Summoned
- Opponent controls monster, you have nothing else on field
- Banish 2 Nordics from hand
- This is a cost. Effect Veiler is evil.

So pretty much the only time it's useful during a duel is turn 1, going second. When your opponent probably has a counter for this.

There's of course the chance you can pull it off, but it comes down to luck more than synergy within the deck. The latter makes the deck consistent.

To pull this off first turn, you need to draw it and any 2 Nordics, and hope they don't have Veiler or set cards like Warning, Torrential, etc that will make your efforts useless. Too much rides on luck for it to be viable, and mid-to-late game, this card is worthless.
