Obviously coz Yuma Used so it must be good...

eh...tha phrase doesn't sounds as good when the character itself is kinda mediocre...T_T

His character concept is he sucks as a duelist. Yeah...

Bonus Irony Points: Kaito is so good that he can use pathetically weak or conditional cards and annihilate people. Astral himself considers Kaito vastly superior in skill to himself. Yuma is a pathetic duelist, but a lot of his cards are interesting, even if not "good".

Iirc there was another character that happened to have the same treatment...in one of the other Yugimonz series...I can't remember which thought

I mentioned a character who sucks, but has decent/interesting cards, and a character whose cards suck, but he's practically a dueling god.

You're going to have to clarify which one.

First one...a Character that was rather neglected but had decent to good cards...

Oh and there is also the case of Crow...which started as a decent character with Decent Cards...but he simply got worse...a lot worse...>_<

Syrus from GX comes to mind as fitting that description. The Roid series was quite interesting, but Eheroes got so much limelight that they got pushed to the side. Like his character. I was hoping he'd be the one to fight Haou.

In fact, isn't he pretty much the ONLY character that didn't die in the alternate world who also didn't duel at all?

Basically EVERYTHING was pushed aside, for more idiotic E-HERO support :/

On-topic: Gotta' love it when they make plot devices, in order to avoid massive OTKs.

Yeah...Sadly Even Aster and Ryo died there...>_< that was...kinda anoying

EDIT: Misawa didn't died either iirc
Double Edit: Yeah He didn't Die but was put in a Bus which was a worse offense...>_<

EDIT Number 3: I Just remembered of Jonouchi...he had a lot of Good Cards in his card pool...yet he was considered a loser by almost everyone...

Misawa's character starting getting neglected pretty much halfway through the first season. Since then, he's been a joke, and I'm pretty sure it was a deliberate gag for the writers to hate his character. He disappeared (literally) halfway through Season 2, randomly showed up in Season 3, was a plot device for a few episodes, then disappeared, and at the end of the season, he said he wasn't coming back. Yeah. Way to kill the character, guys.

So he doesn't count for that.

And Joey's deck was gamble based. Some of his cards were good, but almost all the others were luck based. Yeah. I'd think he was a loser too.

And then he trolled all the way playing cards like Jinzo, Harpie's Feather Duster, Fiber Jar, Raigeki, Foolish Burial, Giant Trunade, Bottomless Trap Hole and Preamture Burial...

=P

Jinzo, definitely. Harpie's Feather was during the Virtual World filler Season. Fiber Jar was during Orichalcos filler, and it got negated. Raigeki was when brainwashed, Foolish had a completely different effect in the anime, Trunade is true, and I dont recall him ever using Bottomless...although now I recall Kamionwizard having 1300 ATK for some reason...
