It was blatantly designed after a card that's currently banned. What do you expect?

It could have been Balanced had they y'know made it less stupid and giving it 300 ATK. I wouldn't mind if they gave it 1501ATK, just to not make it a damn sangan target, amongst other searchers and stuff.

Stupidest card designs imo goes like this:

1.Yata and Envoys
2.Disk commander
3.DaD
4.Shi en
5. Rescue Rabbit

not in order of brokenness, but those are the 5 cards I look at and go "Ah f*** no, why did you do this KonamI?"

As I've said before, Rabbit isn't all THAT bad...in the OCG. In the TCG, it's broken. Priority lets it dodge most counters that don't negate Summons, and the TCG has Tour Guide, our resident instant Rank 3. Leviair is a Rank 3 that can retrieve Rabbit once per turn. Plus, we picked up Evolzar Dolkka, making Rabbit even stronger. I like Dolkka's design, but Rabbit just works too well in the TCG environment.

You miss the days that Sams were the most unfairly consistent deck in the game, and if a Sam player got anything better than an absolute crap hand, they'd probably annihilate you?

He played them.

It was fun.
Very fun.

See, I could never do that. Winning is cool and all, but I dont really enjoy doing incredibly long turns that is simply repetition, and I'll likely do the exact same thing in the next duel, too, which is why I can't play OTK/FTK decks, Sams (I've tried. I either had the worst drawing luck ever, or the win was unsatisfying), or Infernities for long periods of time.

Granted, I play a Rescue Rabbit deck and I do think it's fun despite it can be considered to be unfair at times. The difference is that Rabbit decks can put up a good fight even if they don't god-hand, and even getting a first turn Laggia for 1 card doesn't guarantee you'll win, whereas getting first turn Gateway and/or Shi En in Samurais last format usually meant you would.

Additionally, I've had some damn epic fun games with that deck, which is why I enjoy Yugioh in the first place. Not for the "crushing opponents" aspect, but the challenge and close fun games.

Yata is not bad design...He was designed to be pretty meh...Problem is that every other card that works with it and help him doing its trick easier made it broken...

I Don't Think Rabbit is bad design neither...it was made to have Xyz exceed the popularity Synchros had...They do put a lot of conditions that makes the card almost unplayable as a Synchro Engine...which is pretty much what they wanted...Problem is that they suddenly pushed it over with Xyz too much...
