It is a [i]bit[/i] overrated in a sense though, since you can't really get how deep it actually goes if you only watch it at face value. My favorite character was Kyoko, I don't know why, though. If you noticed, she didn't do anything until Mami was finished brutally pummeling her with her guns. And even afterwards, she wasn't really aggressive at Homura. Just playful. Tourmaline Posted November 15, 2011 Report Share Posted November 15, 2011 I watched this anime late July or early August. It was one of the first anime I watched to reinterest me. It was well done and blissfully dark. When I tell my friends I've seena magical girl they sigh or groan or whatever where I then tell them it's probably darker than whatever trash they've seen. Kyubey and Homura were my favorite. I loved how Kyubey was utterly apathetic towards everything in terms of emotion and properly reasoned with Madoka, not even attempting to euphemise his ends.
